I didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked and consumed more caffeine than I probably should have....but I had fun!
Saturday was a big hit. Still waiting to hear how much money was raised. I wore a lovely dress that had people commenting on my weight loss.
The next day my abs were super sore and I couldn't figure out why. Oh...right...there is a huge difference between holding in your stomach and *actively* sucking in all night. But the dress kind of demanded it.
Totally worth it!
Got home at 2 am. So *not* a good time to remember that there is some oh-so yummy Whole Foods Mac & Cheese in the fridge.
I ate it.
So up I got at 8 and went walking. Got to enjoy the sun, but *everyone* else had the same idea. Cut it short after an hour because I got sick of dodging everyone.
So I threw my swimsuit on and swam for 2 hours.
Good thing about the Super Bowl on a sunny day? There was a total of 9 people in the gym at 1:30. Either that or everyone had given up on their New Year's resolutions.
Either way, I practically had the whole place to myself. It is the one thing I miss about going in at 4 am to work out.
So here I am at work and for some reason the heat is on.
I've been throwing in extra minutes this last week because our friend, the birthday girl, wants to go to the casino tomorrow for breakfast and gambling. I love our Girl's Gatherings, but hate the casino.
While casino food has gotten better (I'll tell you about living in Reno some day...) they still don't offer as many options as I would like.
Of course it doesn't help that PMS is here. That is going to make some of the bad choices seem sooooo good!
Sooooo...extra 1/2 hour here and there is the plan in an attempt to balance things out.
Plus side? I'm at almost 3,000 fitness minutes this month.
