What should my first post be about?? Silliness.
I have found that many of the annoyances in life are best combated by giving it a razzberry.
You think I am kidding, but those that know me have been witness to it. Numerous times.
I have been known to do this at some what odd times, but I keep telling people it helps. If nothing else, doing something so completely silly helps you (at least for the moment) snap out of it.
I have done it while dragging my butt at 0-dark early to the gym. If there is a time for silliness that is it.
I listen to Weird Al on my iPod. Many of his songs are upbeat for keeping the walking momentum. I tried stand up while walking, but two reasons why that doesn't work for me. Laughing out loud in the gym can scare people (which is kinda funny) but also it just doesn't have a good beat to keep the motivation up.
Now with recent studies showing that laughter really is the best medicine (followed closely by ibuprofen) why wouldn't you try to find the silliness in things???
