I resolved to get healthy this year, and so far, I think I've done better than I've done in a very long time. I stopped eating out so much - now I take my lunches to work. I stopped drinking Coke, which was my absolute favorite beverage of all - most people have coffee or tea in the morning, but not me! (I did start drinking a cup of coffee every morning as a compromise, but I plan to cut that out within the next 30 days.) I'm also making healthier choices overall - granted, I'm not perfect, nor have all of my choices been spectacular, but it's about making changes and learning along the way.
This month, my goals are to continue making healthier choices - I also plan to add daily cardio workouts to my routine, even if it means simply walking at a quick pace for 30 minutes. I am also gearing toward getting in my 64 ounces of water every day - this is not an easy challenge for me, but I know I can do it!
As for the scale - well, it's only been a week, so there's not much to report. I lost two-tenths of a pound, and while it's not a large loss, it's not a gain, either. I'll take it! LOL!
