*MY INSPIRATION* (PICS)

I KNOW SOMETIMES COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS AS FAR AS WEIGHT AND BODY IMAGES AND WEIGHT LOSS ACCOMPLISHMENTS ISN'T ALWAYS THE BEST THING TO DO..BUT THESE WOMEN HAVE TRULY INSPIRED ME...

GRANT IT THEY ARE CELEBRITIES AND ARE OF DIFFERENT BODY TYPES, AND PROBABLY HAVE WEIGHT LOSS TOOLS AVAILABLE TO THEM, THAT MOST OF US COULD ONLY DREAM OF, BUT THEY ALL HAVE ONE THING IN COMMON AT LEAST... THEY WANTED IT, THEY WENT FOR IT, THEY DID IT.

I AMAZED AT THE STRIVES THESE WOMEN HAVE MADE TO GET THE BODIES THEY DESIRE AND I INTEND TO DO THE SAME.. THESE WOMEN ARE MY INSPIRATION!!

A Lil Somethin To Celebrate (Pics)...

Hello All,

So I noticed that on my last blog, I didn't include any pics of me at my weight before so I did include them in this blog : /

I can say that I've taken better pics, but I have come to a harsh realization while posting these pics on this blog, wherever I seem to take pics they always seem to be only from the shoulders up!!!.... hmmm.. I guess these pics are a good start to keeping me motivated and keeping my current and future goals before me *sigh*

So.. on to good news. I have recently been with spark a little over a month now (June 21, 2010) and even since then and this last week (although a very tough work week) I managed to make great strides.. here is a recap:

* I went and bought the Polar FT4 heart rate monitor and have been tracking my workouts and calories burned with every workout (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND USER FRIENDLY :D )

* I met up with a friend from out of town whom I haven't seen in over a year.. and he immediately noticed my physical changes from my current weightloss

* oh yea... AS OF WED (JULY 21, 2010) I MET MY FIRST SHORT TERM WEIGHTLOSS GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOT TO TREAT MY SELF TO A RELAXING PEDICURE!! yeeaaa!!

* While my friend was in town we met at Texas Roadhouse (a fav of mine) and instead of pigging out I : made a selection from the jr kids menu and enjoyed a 6oz sirlion, a side of steamed broccoli with lemon juice and I even allowed my self to enjoy ONE of their famous rolls with a tiny bit of butter.. oh yea and a cocktail too :D (NEVER GOING OVER MY CAL INTAKE)

* Also while in my salsa class I think I may have even noticed some slight SLIMMING changes in my body while dancing infront of a wall of mirrors ;D

and finally...

*During one of my workout days my goal was to burn 518 cal and I DID IT ALL IN ONE WORKOUT... (run/ walk intervals) for 1 hr and 13 min burning 546 at the end of my workout WOOOOHHOOO!!

So overall I'm off to a good start.. some days are better than others... BUT I'M DOING IT ... AND I WILL NOT LOOSE!!

Going in.. ALL OR NOTHING!!

Hello All,

I recently just started with spark almost a month ago on the 21st of June, and I can tell you one thing that I am truely inspired by the way so many people have utilized this program to literally changed their lives.

The irony of it all, is after being inspired by so many people and seeing the proof through pictures and their own personal testimonies, I still can't help but wonder...IS IT REALLY POSSIBLE FOR ME TOO??

*Possible to be less than 200 lbs

*Possible that despite the genes I was given, to be in charge of how I look and how much I weigh?

*Possible for me not to only motivate and be an inspiration to myself and others that IT CAN BE DONE??

*Possible that I will be able to walk into a store and be able to fit clothes smaller than a 14-16

These thoughts among so many others, have been at the center of my thoughts for as long as I can remember from my early teens up into adulthood.

So... I've decided if I am really and truly serious about loosing weight and getting healthy that I will do whatever I can, when I can, and make every adjustment in my lifestyle until my body has absouletly no other choice but to follow suite.

SO HERE I AM, WILLING TO BE OPEN AND HONEST WITH MYSELF...

I want to hold myself accountable for my actions good and bad, chart all my meals on my tracker, follow my daily workout and strength training regimens, consume 8 glasses if not more water DAILY, and hope and pray for the best.

I will also periodically (at least once a week) be keeping this blog so that I can be held accountable to you my spark fam as well..

IF IT'S A GOAL WORTH OBTAINING, IT'S A GOAL WORTH WORKING TOWARDS!!

    Let me say first off...you look great right now, but I understand wanting to look your ideal AND be healthier doing it. So best of luck with your journey. Remember the motto--thin may be in, but FIT'S IT!
