weight down 1 pound for this month.....total weight down 6 pounds from Dec. 1....averaging 3 pounds per month.

Improvements to work on for February.........increasing fiber, decreasing sodium to be within guidelines 100%

calories, fat, carbs within guidelines 100%

because i have a sodium intolerance, this really surprised me. Some of the items that recorded high sodium didn't have the stated amount because I made them at home and left out the salt so the number of times isn't absolute. I can tell when I've gone over my sodium level because my hands get numb and I get dizzy----didn't have any of that this past month (that I can remember). My feet were swollen a couple of times indication fluid retention.

Now, I know what to work on for February.....next report after Feb. 29..

Weigh In for Jan 26

Weigh in this morning at TOPS, my weight was the same as last week. Must look at possibly adjusting my calorie intake. Also, have to get head and heart to begin working together. It's tough when head says one thing and heart says another.

As long as the weather stays nice, I should be getting out an walking---have to get an attitude adjustment toward this.

I sure am looking forward to the warmer weather and getting outside to my roses. I am considering starting some tomato plants for container growing. I sure love those fresh tomatoes.

SILLY GOALS

Would you like to join me in some silly fun goals?

I have 2.........

to wrap myself in a regular bath towel ....and have it fit
to fit in the space in front of my washer...(it is a small space)..

I can wrap a towel half way around me now and I can fit one leg in the space in front of my washer......

    AnnRose.......I'll bet those other ladies are thinking the same thing about themselves..

Still not able to wrap a regular towel around me however my big towel seems to lap over a tad more...

not able to fit in the small space either...

    right about the regular big bath towel problem. There's a steam room at my gym that i have used a few times, using either their big towels or my beach towel.
but then i got to thinking how i must look to the other ladies there, at least like a beached whale, or something. now i can either go home to shower or just go to work sweaty. i could have much more fun if i could get over these problems, i'll say!

    Silly goals sound fun...

To not use an extender on the airplane. I was able to to this two years ago but things have gone down hill and up in weight.

To win the challenge my niece and I have. That is to loose 25 pounds by June. All I have done is gone up in weight! Thyroid has been giving me fits with four nodules.

    I bought a new pair of pj's without trying them on last spring. Found out they were too tight for comfort when I got home. I want to wear them this spring.

  I agree with the towel!! It would be nice to be wrapped completely. I would like to walk into a regular(not speciality) store to purchase a bra!! I would like to lose several cup sizes!! I think our "silly" goals are important to help us make it to the bigger picture.

    You will be so pumped when you accomplish those goals. For the longest time mine was to fit in my chair at work better then we moved and I got a new one but my original type of chair is in the lunch room and it is a great feeling to fit in it comfortable instead of it coming up with me and having to push it off.

    Those aren't silly goals! I hated walking around with the towel exposing half of my body! I want to fit into my old jeans and I really want to go down a bra size. Or 3. Not quite as interesting as yours but goals none-the-less! :)

Since I began tracking on December 29 I have been:

fat..........above guidelines 1 time......below guidelines 2 times

carbs......above guidelines 1 time..........below guidelines......2

protein.......below guidelines 1 time

fiber......below guidelines 12 times

sodium.........above guidelines 4 times

I will be working on adding fiber to my diet. I thought I was low on protein instead fiber is my downfall. I will be watching my sodium levels closer.

Goal for the next 4 weeks is to be within the guidelines 100%
