Failing doesn't mean I'm a failure: it just means I haven't yet succeeded

Failing doesn't mean I've accomplished nothing; it just means I've learned something.

Failing doesn't mean I am a fool; it just means I had enough faith to experiment.

Failing doesn't mean I've been disgraced; it just means I dared to try.

Failing doesn't mean I don't have what it takes; it just means I must do things differently next time.

Failing doesn't mean I'm inferior; it just means I'm not perfect.

Failing doesn't mean I've wasted my time; it just means I have a reason to start over.

Failing doesn't mean I should give up; it just means I must try harder.

Failing doesn't mean I'll never make it; it just means I'll need more patience.

Failing doesn't mean I'm wrong; it just means I must find a better way.

Failing doesn't mean God has abandoned me; it just means I must obediently seek His will.

I wish I knew the author of this inspirational piece. It is a keepsake.

We will be picking James up at the Joplin bus station on Wednesday at 3 PM......

He is moving here. We are very excited with a lot of aprenhension thrown in. He asked daughter Valerie if he could live with her. She is his aunt not his mother. His mother is just down the street and I am next door. He says all he wants is a family...and we have lots of that..

James is coming with some big problems but hoping we can help him kick some difficult habits. We pray we can do this with the change of environment, love and bunches of prayers.

We will be leaning so hard on God that he may become lopsided.......

Pray for all of us, PLEASE!!

I didn't do my specific exercises yesterday however I got a lot of walking and climbing in and out of my daughter's low car.

Usually this is a difficult day for me because 7 years ago today my husband entered Heaven to be with his mother, dad, sister, and our 8 week old baby. He has lot of relatives there to enjoy a reunion with. We had several dogs that crossed the Rainbow bridge to greet him. I'll bet he is growing tomatoes for God. He grew them every year and sold enough to pay for his garden. This was something he really enjoyed. When he fell and broke his hip, the tomatoes were his therapy. Working out in his garden nearly every day helped his hip heal very fast.

He fell and broke his hip on May 8, 2002 (our oldest granddaughter's 16th birthday) and on July 27, he walked our oldest daughter down the isle at a campground without his walker. It was more like her walking him.....LOL He was so determined to walk with out his walker.

We had everything planned in case he had problems. I brought him up to the end of the isle in the van, my brother stayed near him, and Maria held him up while he escorted her down the isle. God stayed right there with us that day. It had been raining but the rain stopped long enough for the ceremony. It was blistering hot that day. The icing on her cake melted letting the cake slip sideways a little.

Many good and funny memories of that week end campout. Lots of family there as we had our reunion that week end too.

Blessings to all

Hugs! My daughter's baby was due November 30th! We have had a very bittersweet weekend. We celebrated my parents 60th anniversary and it was the first family event without my brother who died October 17th this year. You have such sweet memories.
