Yesterday I made out like a bandit at the Korean market. Can't beat 8 lbs of carrots for $4, can you? ;) Today I officially starting juicing: pumpkin, carrot, pear, and ginger. Spicy! Don't worry; my diet is not going to be just pure juice. I'm planning on trying to detoxify my body by drinking lots of fruit and vegetable juice freshly juiced mostly in the morning and for lunch along with some lean protein like fat-free Greek yogurt or cheese, tofu, beans, or a protein supplement. I will also probably eat a few healthy snacks during the day and have a moderate supper come early evening.
I read an article recently that said the freshness of the juice is critical to preserving and benefiting from the fat-burning, detoxifying enzymes present in a lot of natural produce. So far I have stocked for the week: pumpkin, pears, apples, raspberries, strawberries, kale, parsley, monchoy, celery, carrots, daikon radish, lemons, bananas (which go in the blender, not the juicer), tomatoes, and cucumbers. Not bad for $28, eh? Yep, I'm quite the bandit. I think as long as I check out the specials at the different markets, this is definitely a change my budget can afford.

Well, I thought "kinky" sounded a little better than desperate, which is what I am. I can't stop eating. I'm even driving out to get food whereas I usually just walk to the grocery store to buy fresh stuff that I cook.
This and getting out of the house and going for a walk are my solutions for now. Chalk it up to frazzled brain chemistry. I just hope things work themselves out soon.

The truth shall set me free, right? I was really swollen in this picture, not to mention that the dress was at least a size too big and not form-fitting. PERFECT!!! That's what I want because I never took some decent "before" pictures at my absolute heaviest, so these should do perfectly. I also took some pictures in my monokini, but I am saving those "before" pics for when I have some really cool "after" pics to go with them.
