Yesterday I listed the main goals I want to achieve this year, but I've been asked to be more specific. Hmm...
I said I plan to exercise at least ten minutes per day (and walking the dogs does not count). I don't really want to be more specific than that. The point is to exercise rather than not doing anything all day. I don't care if I walk, cycle, do a video or anything as long as I do something to get my heart pumping. I hope to be eventually exercising much more than ten minutes a day, but ten minutes is my minimum.
I also said I plan to make sure I take time for myself during the day. I should give myself at least an hour a day that I can do something for myself - and I don't mean just exercise (even though that's taking time for myself too). I can meditate, read a mystery, or spend time on the computer - something just for me.
Lastly, I said I wanted to make sure I eat in a healthy way. I plan on eating fruits and vegetables each day. I plan on eating every few hours so that my metabolism keeps running strong. I plan on keeping track of what I eat at least one day per week. I also plan on being aware of what I do eat even if I don't write it down.
These are my more specific goals. Wow! I need to post these up somewhere now to make sure I achieve them.
