Back to Core. 12 min. cardio - 36 min. strength training
First of all, let me say that my body is not sore from the strength training yesterday. I was worried since I increased my hand weights a bit that I would be sore, but I'm not. Yay! (Or should it be NoYay because I should feel sore????) Anyway, I felt great this morning for the workout.
The workout was again fun. I don't mind doing a million different kinds of jumping jacks, so the cardio is pretty simple. It's just jumping for 12 minutes basically. The strength training focuses on your back, arms, and some abs. It's all pretty fun except for the reverse plank at the end. The back of my knees hurts from that, so I have to bend my knees to allow my legs to leave the floor. I suppose I just don't have enough core strength, but since my knees are weak too, I can't do it as shown. Oh well, I modify and that works fine.
This program seems too short somehow. Like I've said, the workouts are over very quickly. Maybe I've been conditioned into doing longer sessions, but these all are over fast. I have the big Game Day coming up which I haven't tried yet, so maybe that's where all this is leading. I'll probably be complaining that it goes on too long!
