Insanity - Day 55

Core Cardio & Balance...Again, the easiest workout of all Insanity. I like it on one hand because it is so easy, but on the other, it's certainly not a challenge. Who does Insanity for anything but a challenge??? So, for once in a while, it's fun, but for everyday, no way...too easy.

Insanity - Day 54

Max Interval Circuit - 60 minutes of fun. Actually, this one I follow by checking off in my mind the three different sections after the warm up and stretch. I know that each section repeats three times, and at the end of two of them, Shaun T. sneaks in an extra exercise to keep us going just that much longer. Luckily, I felt good today, and I kept up with everything. The only other thing I'll say is I'm really over all the burpees - side, ski, and regular. I never knew why I did this exercise as a kid, but now I know why - it was in preparation for INSANITY!!!

    That is good that you have been preparing for Insanity since you were a kid! Those exercises do get a little old. But you are still doing great!

Max Recovery - The Power Yoga day...Today's workout was another nice one. Lots of squats and lunges. Lots of pushups and up/down planks. Lots of yoga posing. Good sweat build up. Nice relaxing day. Ha!!

Insanity - Day 52

Max Cardio Conditioning & Abs - Today was the one workout where Shaun T. goes crazy and doesn't stop for a very long time! I do like this workout because it's not the same repetitive moves three times in a row. It just changes up all the time. I did OK this morning. I'm kinda distracted, but was able to focus enough to get a great workout anyway. My abs were screaming at the end of the abs workout too. So, chalk another day down. Woo Hoo!!

I liked that one for the same reasons! Repeating exercises really grew tiresome for me which is one of the big reasons I wanted to do something else this time! You are doing great, keep it up!

Insanity - Day 51

Max interval Plyo - Still my least favorite, but I was in it today. I did well, thankfully. I left for work then early and have been busy all day. I'm also thinking about my dog who is not doing too well. I have been distracted today for sure. At least I was able to focus during the workout and channel some of that stress there.
