Max Recovery - Power Yoga recovery day...Done first thing this morning. I'm always happy to have a recovery day. I do feel that after all the jumping and quick movements I need a slow, strength training-type of day. I like these days thrown in. I feel good!
I have been watching the ads for Insanity: Asylum. I'm gearing myself up for moving onto the next chapter in my cardio workout mornings. I'm not sure how that workout will work (it looks like it's 7 days a week, not 6), but I do think I need a change for a while. Looking back at some of my blogs about this second round shows that I found some of the days a bit too easy. I think my body will appreciate changing it up a bit. Any Asylum veterans want to give me some advice, please do!!

Max Interval Plyo...done by 7:10 A.M. this morning. Just like yesterday, today's workout went much better than last week. I felt strong. I attempted pushup after pushup with butt down (especially the 64 near the end LOL!). I did every squat jump on beat with Shaun T. I was driven this morning!!
Thankfully, I got all my exercise in before heading off to work today. In addition to the HUGE mistake my colleague made that I am in the process of trying to clean up, I was handed a new project as I left last night to start this morning. As you can see, I've taken a break. Ha, ha!! Anyway, the new project could be interesting, so I'm not too upset something new has appeared on my desk. I just with this other project would somehow be resolved already. In the meantime, though, I know that I am stronger (both mentally and physically), and I'll take on all challengers (and maddening colleagues).

Max Interval Circuit - 60 minutes of pushing. I started off slow (my usual MO for the first two rounds of the warm-up). Something changed from yesterday, though. I felt strong! I totally lost it in the middle yesterday and then started to come back at the end. Today I was strong and only got stronger! The air was still humid, but there was less heat this morning. Maybe that had something to do with it. I wasn't stressed at work yesterday. Maybe that had something to do with it. I went to bed super early last night. Maybe that had something to do with it. All I can say is that I'm so happy I did so well! I was able to do all high impact in time with Shaun T & company. I really tried hard, too, to keep my butt all the way down during the plank jabs and walking pushups. It may not have been perfect, but boy was it better than it's been in a while. Woo Hoo! Today is a good day - even if I thought it was Monday!

Max Cardio Conditioning...Done! This is the non-stop workout (only 45 minutes, so short in comparison) that really makes you work. It's been so humid here that as soon as I started (mind you, at 6:15 A.M.), I started sweating. By the end, I literally was in a pool of sweat. I could ring my shirt out!
The workout itself wasn't easy. One part in the middle (squats with tricep jabs with jumping jack turns to each side), hit me hard. I ended up not being able to jump and just moved my legs in partial squats, jabbed, and then turned to the other side and jabbed. I just wiped out. After that part, I picked it up and finished strong. But, I did fall here in the middle. Yikes! And, I won't go into my pitiful pushup jacks...suffice it to say I did my best!!!
The day is young. I am at work. I haven't yet had to deal with the elephant in the room problem that I've been stressing about for a week or so, and I'm not going to worry about it. I will tackle it later in the day, but for now, I'm just going to relax and enjoy the humidity!! Ha, ha!!

Day Off!! I had a very nice day because I DID NOT HAVE TO WORK!!!!! I've been so stressed at work, it's unbelievable. I'm so happy I've been keeping up here with SparkPeople because this is the time I'd either stop exercising and/or start stress eating. I don't plan during these times, and then when I fall behind, I give up and think I've already failed so why continue?
Today was perfect to allow me to recharge my batteries. I spent some time in the garden and took a nice power walk to get ready for the 5k's I've signed up for. I also got my strength training in. Woo Hoo! I took care of me today, and it felt good! I did have a lot of chores I ended up doing too, but that's ok. I even went to the grocery store at 6 A.M. to get my shopping in.
Day complete - back to Insanity tomorrow!!!! (Only 3 more weeks to go for round 2!!!)
