and from there, don't know. I hosted potluck and singalong fellowship gathering this evening. I ate moderately and enjoyed some of everything, including dessert. My curried turkey salad was a hit, along with my low cal pumpkin spice cake.
I'm very tired tonight and can hardly wait to put my nightshirt on and go to bed. The house is clean, nearly everything is put away, and the yard looks great. And we had a great time!

Good exercise today. I made a workout out of putting laundry away while marching in place and putting items away one at a time. Did a SP video, stretching, walk.

total 1705 - too much dinner, over by 145. Not bad. There are days like this when I seem to want a bit more fat. It wasn't sweets or carbs, just higher fat & cal than usual.

OK, today was going really well until...the cashews I bought for a recipe jumped out of the grocery bag, attacked me, and stuffed themselves down my throat. No? All right, I admit they got the better of me, but I chose to open them and eat the things. I didn't eat them all, but ended up 348 calories over. Not bad for a binge, but still, not necessary and not conducive to reaching my goals.
On the upside, I had a great workout today. But my workouts need to be more than damage control. Back at it tomorrow.
Later, after several comments: You're right, friends, it was cashews, not chips or something else of no nutritional value. I feel better, and I'm NOT going to finish them off tomorrow.

WHERE'D THEY GO? I DID DO A BLOG YESTERDAY FOR DAYS 24 & 23. Oh well, they weren't great food days anyway.
Today - doing well. Did a video, worked hard on the house so that when my pest control person arrived, he could spray in closets and the large cupboard I emptied. I cleaned window sills, mopped floors, cleaned bathrooms, vaccuumed every place I could get to. Still putting things away; good workout!
I have 7 cal to spare. Dinner was high, but I was eating out. Just think if I hadn't
1) chosen salad
2) asked for light dressing
3) skipped the roll
4) divided my meal in half as soon as it came
5) ate the blueberry pie filling with only a few bits of crust

Great start this morning! Did stretching and cardio in my room, then walked all the way to other bridge for a good brisk 45 min. I'm glad I've been able to do it early in the morning. Right now it's pouring rain in Tampa.
Food - I'm about to give up trying to accurately track today. Breakfast totaled more than I expected at 483, and after the retreat, I went out for lunch with a friend. I automatically set aside half my meal for taking with me--and then we visited the ice cream shop next door. I had a scoop and a half of delicious ice cream in a small waffle cone--and I still have a party to go to this evening. I'm not going to make it within range today. But I did manage to do it for all of the retreat meals. I'm staying an extra night, going home tomorrow afternoon, so it'll be back to tracking as usual. Meanwhile, I'm not going to kick myself for today. I'll just be over and that's that.
