I've had a good day. Slept well after being on the run all day yesterday, will go to bed early tonight too so I can catch up. I got a lot of cleaning done, dropped off stuff at a thriftshop, and took newspapers to the church.

For exercise, I tried a longer video today and looked for opportunities to get in extras such as calf rocking while putting gas in the car. Those minutes add up!

I've had good meals all day. I had chicken salad on pita bread for lunch and baked salmon with rosemary for dinner. Good totals today! Haven't had snack #2 yet, but it's planned. I like SP's idea of microwaving peanut butter and adding to shredded wheat.

    I have never heard of the microwave peanut butter, I can not wait to get home and try that.

Very full day on the run. It's 3:30 now and I'm a bit over on cal so far; will have to adjust later. Proud of myself - got up early to get in a SP video before dashing out the door for 8 AM pollworkers' class. I'll be so happy when the DVD I won gets here! So far:

351 breakfast
425 lunch with mom
285 snack #1, not enough protein for lunch
181 dinner
158 snack #2
1400 total

I did it! What I ate when got a little skewed, but at the end of the day, I am comfortably within range. This is really good. I've convinced myself I can do it again on especially challenging days like this one.

7/10 oops. Forgot to add the glass of lemonade I had with snack #2 @ 131 cal.
Total 1531, 6 cal over. Don't care; it was still a really good day.

PS: I figured the cal on my own lemonade, and it's 30 cal less than the SP listing! So...I WAS within cal range!

It feels very good to be sticking within my range with some new motivation. I'm going to make the most of the remaining days till my 1 yr Sparkversary. Today's totals:

Exercise: stretching, walk, heavy cleaning, SP video

I've had a run of three great days!

Under calories today which is unusual. I had time only to throw some berries, almond milk and choc peanut butter powder in the blender for lunch. A couple of under calorie days won't hurt, but I'm not going to make a habit of it. I feel really good about what I did eat.

I'm challenging myself to post my calorie totals daily till my 1 year Sparkversary on 8/16. Here's today:

295 breakfast
350 lunch
143 snack #1
285 dinner
204 snack #2
1277 total

Exercise: SP cardio video, yardwork, lots of housecleaning

Taking a page from several Sparkfriends; accountability is a great help!
