Last night I didn't feel like walking. However, I pushed myself out the door and was glad I went! For starters, I felt that energy almost right away. Then I had a nice surprise seeing several people dancing on the boardwalk. Mostly older people from the nearby retirement community. I can't say I've ever seen someone line dance to Black Eyed Peas, but it was fun to see.
The night was nice and cool and the stars were out. I just kept walking and then found this perfect jet out into the water, which happened to be reflecting the moonlight. I thought it would be a perfect place to practice some of the Yoga moves I've learned from Wii Fit.
I felt so refreshed after that that I did a light run and more walking. Then I found a pier that was unoccupied. I walked all the way down and did some more Yoga by moonlight out there. It was so peaceful.

Woke up today, after a good night of exercise. This morning, I went for a walk to work and up the stairs. Today, I am hoping to play with the kids, do some housework, and finish up some Wii Fit. Hoping for a productive day of getting fit.
My goal is also to stay within my calorie range. I probably over did it on the peanut butter this morning, so I have to pace myself for the rest of the day. Man, that bread was dry though. lol
Need to get my fruits and veggies in. I love the new fruit/veggie tracker on sparkpeople. I want to be able to color in that pineapple every day!

Well, was busy playing hard in the back yard with the kids. Throwing a soccer ball up the roof, shooting basketballs, kicking soccer balls, running around, even lifting the kids up and down. That was all good, until the back yard neighbor said they are throwing a birthday party for their girl and that we should come over. Well, it wasn't in my plans, but this was a sweet gesture and I enjoy their company.
Anyhow, somehow I ended up on pizza guard duty. I didn't do as bad as I have, back in the day, but I did some damage. Of course, cake and ice cream. Usually this all wouldn't be so bad, because I would have planned for it. However, it was definitely over my calorie limit.
To control the damage, I logged everything I ate. Next, I'm on here telling whoever wants to read this about it. Even if it is just for myself. Finally, I'm going to go walking and do some Wii Fit. Those weren't in the plans either. But...since birthday cake wasn't in the plans, I thought I would put exercise in the plans.
I ended up going just over 300 calories over my limit. I can probably exercise that off with a good long walk and some nice Wii Fit moves. Now for some water before I hit the pavement.

I feel a bit of oversnacking, especially being tired at night, has caused some weight gain. This was just about 24 hours worth of damage to control here. I have a team weigh-in on Friday, so I've got some plans to get back in control. Mainly, more exercise, more tracking, more water, more healthier options. Best of all...prior planning!
My goal is to plan out, not only my food choices, but also my schedule. When I'm working, when I'm walking, when I'm doing Wii Fit, etc. The better the schedule, the better I'll be able to move through it.
I'm eating better today and have definitely noticed a spike in energy. I tuckered out there for a bit, but noticed I didn't eat for a bit.

My son woke up with super energy this morning. Bouncing off the walls and causing all kinds of havoc. So, I decided to burn some of that energy off. I challenged him to races all the way to the play ground. Once there, I chased him around the playground equipment. To give him some time to "get away" from me, I did a few push-ups, dips, and whatever other exercise I could devise out of the equipment there. He came back tired and I came back with sore arms. lol
