WOW! I am still trying to come to grips with the wonderful things which are happening in my life. I decided sometime this year I would "step out of my comfort zone."
I stepped out and accomplished the following:
VW Jetta (owned 2 Mitsubishi Mirages)
Toss clothes that were too big
Had hair cut short
Applied and interviewed for different positions
Got the position I REALLY wanted. So when the clock strikes Midnight tonight, no longer will I be considered "Support Staff"(secretary), I will be a Director (a person in charge). This is the beginning of a new position for me and the end to a position I have held for 18 years . I am looking forward to this and I am scared. Like I have done with everything else I have "stepped out my comfort zone" and done, I will give it my all.
Keep me in your positive thoughts and prayers as I take on this new journey. But don't fret, I will still be here to Spark. I still have additional miles to travel on this road to a healthy lifestyle.
If you have not stepped out your comfort zone, you might want to give it a try. I have and it is
you think you can continue to wear the same clothes when you lose weight, think again. Just because the pants have a nice fitting piece of elastic in the waist does not mean those pants fit. I found this out the hard way. Today I decided to put on a pair of pants for work with elastic in the waist, I wore when I was heavier. These pants have elastic in the waist, there is no reason not to wear them. Boy was I wrong. Yes the pants fit nice in the waist but the rest of the pant fitted like a sack. Who would have thought . Yes it is wonderful to have lost the weight and I do not regret the choice to get the weight off. The one problem I have is not having anything to wear. I guess the best way to look at this situation, it could be the other way around. Will be hitting bargain shops and discount stores this weekend.
Today I visit with my Brother, Aunt, Sister-n-Law, Nephews and Nieces. For the first time in over five years my Mom had her 4 children (2 girls/2 boys) and 4 grand children (2 girls/2 boys) under the same roof laughing> & smiling. Like always, it was hard to see them leave .
Hard to believe it is time to return to work. Since I have been off work, I have not gotten in bed before 1 and 2 am. Tonight will be different . I will be in bed before 10:30 pm. Busy week. So much to do. Got to get it done and it will get done
75 mins of Zumba
15 mins of Walking
Lost count of the number of hours spend on doing laundry
Enjoyed another day of
Visit with Brother and his family here from Alabama. Went to a Chinese buffet and I ate as little as possible. Refused to overeat
