Things that I could have done differently to NOT go over my calorie range:

2546-1730 = 816 over
-230 Mocha Latte
-170 Nestle cup
-320 Milk to go
-120 Baked Lays
= -24 *could* have been within range.
Lesson learned: I eat when I'm worried.

Aw, I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this. Your best bet right now is to get informed. Don't worry about the what if's. Find out more so it's not such a ghost wandering in your brain. Hugs.

That is a lot to deal with, but thankfully they found them. I know how easy it is to worry, but it won't add one day to your life, all it will do is steal joy. So snuggle someone or something furry :)

Hi - I'm okay today BUT yesterday I saw the doctor after BodyPump to go over the results of my blood tests that I had on the 11th. When I went for the the ultrasound to see if my IUD was where it was supposed to be, they noticed polyps on my liver. Doc sent me for a blood test and they found that my enzymes were at 87. Apparently, they should be 40 or less. So now I have more blood tests to schedule... they're checking my liver, my thyroid, my cholesterol..... all the info I've read says "don't worry" but I've never been this poked or prodded and it's my NATURE to worry. I'm also going for a CT scan...or MRI...whichever they can get scheduled first.

Quick check-in

Thursday, January 19, 2012

It's Wednesday and Spark was already giving me trouble about going over my "calories burned" goal for the week so I reset that number tonight. I have burned an average of 1530 calories each week for the past two so I made it 1520 just to be sure. In turn, Sparkpeople gave me a new calorie range: 1,380 - 1,730 emoticon
My chart for today looks like this:

OH! and I had a *fabulous* run tonight!!

Water, fruit, veggies - all goals met today. emoticon
Tomorrow, I'll focus on my new calorie range.

Come on March!!

Wednesday, January 18, 2012

Okay, I'm not one to wish my life away but I have two really cool things happening in March. Three, actually. First, on the second, it's Paul's (PEHASS2) birthday. Second, on the third, I'm attending an X-Weighted Connect event and will do a bootcamp workout with Paul Plakas -

Finally, on the seventeenth, Tommy Europe is coming back to Calgary and, I hope, I'm going to see him, too!!

I'm nursing a little tendonitis in my wrist so I have to modify some exercises but I'm SO READY to be challenged like I know these two awesome trainers can.

Yesterday, I carbohydrated too much. I just checked the stats of today so far and I'm on track to do it again.... this sucks. I need, NEED, to get my nutrition under control. GAK!

Monday, monday

Tuesday, January 17, 2012

Waking up this morning and finding out that it "felt like" -34C (-29F) did not inspire me to get out of bed and go to the gym. Something I felt bad about until Colin showed up early to get the things that he'd forgotten when he went back to his Dad's on Saturday.
This evening though I felt guilty for not doing anything active and went to the gym for BodyPump. It was good. Real good.
So! here are my charts for the last two days. I think all my decimals were in the right place this time.

Two more good things for today. 1) My friend Leanne told me that I inspired her to run today. 2) My step-daughter, Jessie, is going to be staying with us for a bit. I haven't had a lot of time to spend with her since her dad and I split up three years ago so I'm looking forward to the next two to three weeks. I just hope she remembers that I'm the strict one.

Tonight's windchill is forecast to be -48C and -50C by morning . . . When we are leaving for the South! Hoping we drive out of this in our first day. Great job on getting your butt to Body Pump.

Good job for making it to the gym after all. It's so brutally cold right now -- even I couldn't bear to walk to work this morning. BTW, thanks for your comment on my running blog. It feels good to run again. Did 7K last night and loved every minute of it!

Great work! Yep, I'm still recovering from my cold, so I decided to take ONE more day to get better before getting back to it - but I'm absolutely going bonkers. Stupid Cold Weather.
