Day 20 - warm & cozy on Sunday

Sunday, November 20, 2011

Yesterday was an epic failure as far as my "To Do" list went.
Today, I'm paying for it with what I'm sure is a headache due to dehydration and poor food choices. Bleh. I get it, one bottle of water is NOT enough. And too much sodium is bad. Even when coupled with a peppermint tea. Basically, I took in a litre of water and 50% more salt than is my maximum - the pounding in my head is my reward.

Last night, our furnace motor decided to commit suicide. Thankfully, we noticed fairly quickly and got a repairman out before any major damage. I spent a few chilly hours snuggling with Emily. She's a great heat source. One arm, one leg later - it's fully functional again.

Today's to-dos:
1) Get enough sleep.
2) Drink enough water.
3) 5+ fruits & veggies
4) Track my food.
5) Move!
6) Do some ST
7) Spend some much needed quality time with the boys.

Guess I'd better get my butt in gear if I intend to cross anything off this list.
Toodles!

Not the time of year for a broken furnace! Glad you were able to get it fixed so quick.

Sorry to hear about the furnace - saw that on FB today. HUGS, and glad you and Paul were able to get it fixed without selling one of the children (or your numb leg). Good luck on the new plan!

Day 19 - Sleepy Saturdays

Saturday, November 19, 2011

The only thing that got me out of bed this morning was that I had a 10:00 meeting at the Running Room. The odds were against me, though, it was -18 and Logan's attempt to start my car failed. He didn't turn it all the way over and drained the battery. Thank goodness we have two vehicles.... Emily got to meet all the managers and instructors from the area. She, of course, was an angel the entire 3 hours we were there.

So! Today's to-dos:

I tried to watch the latest "Harry Potter" movie with the family last night and fell asleep. Tonight, we're scheduled to watch "Green Lantern" which, the last time I tried to watch, I also fell asleep for. Wish me luck!

Edited on Sunday, to show "goals met".

Day 18 - Chilly Fridays

Friday, November 18, 2011

Today I'm going to hide inside. It's -16 celcius and that's before the windchill. Not sure I'm going to be able to "Move" today. Not outside anyway. I've promised PEHASS2/Paul not to freeze his baby emoticon I might sneek out and go buy the winning ticket for the $50 Million lotto prize tonight. It's only a 15 minute (return) walk to the corner store and I can get my Timmy's fix at the same time.

Today's to-dos:

1) Get enough sleep. emoticon
2) Drink enough water. emoticon

3) 5+ fruits & veggies emoticon

4) Track my food. emoticon

5) Move!
6) Do some ST
7) Laundry!! (it never ends, does it?) emoticon

Day 17 - Lazy (laundry) day

Thursday, November 17, 2011

Today's to-dos:

1) Get enough sleep. emoticon
2) Drink enough water. emoticon
3) 5+ fruits & veggies emoticon
4) Track my food. emoticon
5) Move!
6) Do some ST
7) Laundry!! emoticon

It's 3:00 & it's already looking like I might not get these all done. It would help if Emily would cooperate AND I could remember to press *start* on the dryer. Post-pregnancy brain, perhaps?

Updated Friday morning for progress.

I am convinced that post-pregnancy is worse than pregnancy brain! I think it has something to do with lost brain cells and sleep deprivation....not a good combo! LOL
My kids are 8&11 and some days I swear I still have post-pregnancy brain or maybe I should call it beginning of old age brain....NAH!

Great goals and even if you only got a couple done it would be a huge accomplishment!
