Day 18 - Chilly Fridays

Friday, November 18, 2011

Today I'm going to hide inside. It's -16 celcius and that's before the windchill. Not sure I'm going to be able to "Move" today. Not outside anyway. I've promised PEHASS2/Paul not to freeze his baby emoticon I might sneek out and go buy the winning ticket for the $50 Million lotto prize tonight. It's only a 15 minute (return) walk to the corner store and I can get my Timmy's fix at the same time.

Today's to-dos:

1) Get enough sleep. emoticon
2) Drink enough water. emoticon

3) 5+ fruits & veggies emoticon

4) Track my food. emoticon

5) Move!
6) Do some ST
7) Laundry!! (it never ends, does it?) emoticon

Technically, laundry should have got half points but there's no emoticon for that. LOL

Day 17 - Lazy (laundry) day

Thursday, November 17, 2011

Today's to-dos:

1) Get enough sleep. emoticon
2) Drink enough water. emoticon
3) 5+ fruits & veggies emoticon
4) Track my food. emoticon
5) Move!
6) Do some ST
7) Laundry!! emoticon

It's 3:00 & it's already looking like I might not get these all done. It would help if Emily would cooperate AND I could remember to press *start* on the dryer. Post-pregnancy brain, perhaps?

Updated Friday morning for progress.

I am convinced that post-pregnancy is worse than pregnancy brain! I think it has something to do with lost brain cells and sleep deprivation....not a good combo! LOL
My kids are 8&11 and some days I swear I still have post-pregnancy brain or maybe I should call it beginning of old age brain....NAH!

Great goals and even if you only got a couple done it would be a huge accomplishment!

Day 16 - Another Wednesday of walking

Wednesday, November 16, 2011

Today's to-dos:
1) Get enough sleep to function semi-normally. emoticon
2) Drink enough water to keep the headaches away. emoticon

3) 5+ fruits & veggies emoticon

4) Track my food even if the total calories is not where it should be. emoticon

5) Move! emoticon

6) Begin a basic (at home) strength training program. Do it three times. emoticon

7) Grocery shop to get some "healthy" back into the house. emoticon

Yesterday's goals were almost all met. I only drank two of my 660 mL bottles of water. They kept the headaches away BUT I was aiming for three. I found/printed the workout that I'll be starting back with BUT I didn't do it. www.sparkpeople.com/resource/exercis
es-pop.asp

I've added it to my tracker for today. Now I have to do it. I despise having points for something that I didn't do.....

Good plan... I add exercise as well, so I feel forced to do it. Also, great job on the sleep.

Day 15 - Half way there.

Tuesday, November 15, 2011

Half way to my restart date, that is.

My goals for this week:
1) Get enough sleep to function semi-normally. emoticon
2) Drink enough water to keep the headaches away. emoticon
3) 5+ fruits & veggies emoticon
4) Track my food even if the total calories is not where it should be. emoticon
5) Move! I'm up to four scheduled walk dates a week and have been putting about 120 minutes on the Garmin. Time to add more. Emily loves her stroller rides. I have no excuse. emoticon
6) Begin a basic (at home) strength training program. Do it three times.

I forgot to weigh myself this morning which was quite disappointing BUT I'll do it tomorrow. Hoping to see a more realistic drop (1-2 pounds). Don't get me wrong 10 and 6 pound losses were nice but I don't see that as helpful in the long term.

Such a sweet little girl - beautiful memory that I got to hold her :)

Your goals sound very do-able, and sensible for a mom coming back after pregnancy. So glad Roo loves her stroller.
