Last chance workout

Tonight our BLC15 Dragon team had a little last chance workout of our own. Simple really, 30 minutes (or more) of cardio/intentional exercise. I'm happy to report that, with the help of my HM training group, I completed 37 minutes during our 5 km run tonight.

I'm still within my calorie range, too. Right on target for my goal of being there 5/7 days a week for January. In fact, I've only not been inside my calorie range twice since the new month began. Fruit, veggies and water are all on track, too.

Feels like a whole new me for this whole new year. Let's hope this reflects well in tomorrows weigh-in.

NEW Challenge - Day 4

N~Calorie range is 1560-1910 - I scored a perfect five on this today. Not only did I get my freggies for the day, I also drank all my water AND have calories left over. 16 of them. LOL
E~Exercise - 30 minutes of strength training doing Option 2 and 3 of the BLC15 gym program. 5 points again!
W~Wellness -Breakfast, lunch, dinner and three snacks. I even treated myself to a small piece of dark chocolate for no other reason (no emotion) than "just because" and I feel pretty good about how things went today. 5 points!

Total for the day 15 points.

New Challenge - Day 3

N~Calorie range is 1560-1910 - Today, with 5 freggies included, my calorie count is 1983 so I'm a little over.
E~Exercise - 20 minutes done. I'm opting out of the gym program today. I did 15 minutes of tobogganing (too fricken cold) and a 98 minute run on the treadmill. I feel done.
W~Wellness - I slipped up and grazed through 2 extra crescent rolls BUT I realized it right away and didn't eat the final two so that's something... I feel like this has been a good day. My meals were planned and everything fit into my calorie range. Even with the slip, I am only 73 calories over. Considering I just burned over 1200 on the treadmill, I'm okay with that.

It snowed here yesterday and today. When we left for running this morning, the snow was drifted across the roads. By the time we were half way to the Running Room, I knew that I would be renewing my friendship with the treadmill sometime today. A 12 km run that, on a regular LSD day, would take me 84 minutes took me 98! When I realized that I was going into overtime I started to get a little loopy. I'm NOT a treadmill runner and I now have a new appreciation for anyone who CAN run on the dreadful things. All the power to ya. Hopefully, it'll be another 3 years before I have to get on that thing again. Paul's doing his run now. I'm *supposed* to be showering but I'm sparking.. shhhh.
It's getting late tho' so I *should* get to bed. I still need to make a lunch, too. I guess I'm outta here.

    I hate the treadmill too - it's awful. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who is slower on the treadmill than on the road. I have a couple of friends who swear the treadmill is easier and are faster when they use it. I hope you get some better running weather soon!

N~Calorie range is 1560-1910 - Today, with 5 freggies included, my calorie count is 1801.
E~Exercise - 20 minutes done. Option 2 and 3 of the BLC15 gym program completed.
W~Wellness - Well, after a relaxing morning at the grocery store, a good meal and a movie night with the boys, I feel much better. I didn't do ANY emotional eating today. I feel good about my food choices, including the two pieces of chocolate, and I did more exercise than I thought I would.

Five points for N
Five points for E and
Five points for W.

Tomorrow morning I'm going for a 12 km run. There was a nasty storm here today. Hopefully, the 70 km/hr winds will die down and I won't blow away. Between that and the -25C scheduled for tomorrow, I'm a little worried that my runners will not show up in the morning. Guess we'll see.

N~Calorie range is 1560-1910 Today is my non-calorie range day. I pledged not to exceed my range by more than 500 today and I am 2215 for the day. That includes popcorn and coffee crisp bites at the movie. (305+) It also included MORE than 5 Freggies.
E~Exercise - Option 2 of the BLC gym done - this is one of my two regularly scheduled rest days otherwise.
W~Wellness - I logged everything. I made healthy choices when I ate out (twice) today. My calorie intake may be over my "goal" but that was the plan and even with take out and movie snacks, I'm only 272 over. Considering that I've been planning this all week and created a 2000+ calorie deficit over that time... I'm golden.
