I started to write about this on Sunday evening and then the WWW stole my entry. I was so miffed that I had to wait til I cooled off to try again. And then I forgot that I wanted to write down some thoughts.
The "plan my fitness" plan is going well. Last week (Friday, Saturday) went the way that it was supposed to. On Friday, I did the Awesome Abs and BodyPump classes that I planned on attending. Then on Saturday, I took the kids to the amusement park so we'll call that "active rest". The staying within calories.... yeh - KABOOM! Sunday wasn't in my schedule but, I did a 10 km run with Richard and his LTR clinic. I finished in 1:03. It wasn't my best time but I had a good time.
But that was then.... this is now, right?
On Monday, I wrote in my daytimer "Goal: Schedule my fitness." This week now looks like this:
Monday - off
Tuesday - Awesome Abs + Run 4 kms
Wednesday - Run 3 kms
Thursday - BodyFlow + Run 4 kms
Friday - Awesome Abs + BodyPump
Saturday - bike ride (time and distance TBD)
Sunday - 7 km run
So far, I'm right on track. I am, on average, within my calorie range but that's only because on Tuesday I was low-ish. ANYway, I have four more days to go.
MONDAY of next week, I start work full-time in an office setting again. Yes, that means that I will no longer be a Personal Trainer. I have to put it on hold but I will be keeping up my training/certifications so that I can make the career change again when the timing is better. Right now I have to focus on my family and the unsteady income is not good for us. *bonuses* guaranteed 7:30 to 4:00 work days, salaried pay cheques, medical benefits, paid vacation. All very good things. The only downside is that I had to buy a gym membership and now have to actually MAKE time for me to go. Should be a piece of cake. =) Mmmm, cake.
