I quit my job today

My final day at Job #1 will be May 30th. I cannot believe how emotinal a decision it turned out to be. Sure, I've not been truly happy for a few months and yes, I've found a job (#3) that I enjoy immensely but it was still a VERY tough (final) decision to make. So! I sent GL my available hours and, as a last resort, guaranteed myself some part-time work at Timmie's if I need it. :~) It will all work out in the end.

I was late for work.
Some crazy woman called me a liar and yelled at me.
My 80 calorie chocolate bar was NOT 80 cals total.
I didn't resist the meatballs at supper & now I'm 600 calories over for the day.
My NEW new shoes hurt my feet so I can't run in them. Which means that I could only burn 125 calories off on the treadmill.

ARGH!!!

I drank my water, ate my veggies and fruit and tried to do cardio. It was still a horrible, terrible, no-good, very bad day.

Week 10, Day 1

Calories - 2099 Veggies - 4 Fruit - 2 Cardio/Strength - None
This wasn't exactly a perfect day but close enough ESPECIALLY since I also pulled off seven hours of sleep last night (whoohoo!)

Something cute happened tonight. I called into GL to cancel my tanning and was asked if I was working tonight... when I said no she said "awww". She was genuinely disappointed :~) That's never happened before. It feels good.

OH! and I was down to 121 this morning!!

The eve of week 10

It's Sunday, May 4th and tomorrow is the first day of the last week of our 5% challenge. The ladies have done well and I'm very proud of all of them. Even if they didn't meet the 5% goal, they tried really hard and made some good changes in their eating and fitness habits.

This week:
The good ~ I stayed within calorie range four out of seven days.
I drank at least 2L of water a day.
I had at least 4 servings of veggies and fruit per day and, often, 6 or more.
I ran four days for a total of 35ish kilometres.
The bad ~ I did not do any strength training. I'll work to improve on that this week.

I leave for Halifax in exactly one week. Before then, I want to:
~strength train twice
~run three times
~maintain my water/fruit/veggies consumption
~stay within calorie range at least four days
I want to finish the challenge weighing the same as I did (or less) than I did when it started.
Totally doable. I hope.

The eve of week 9

Ok, week 8 didn't happen emoticon I had two good nutritional days and only 3 good cardio workouts, ONE strength training day. Oh dear.
Today (Sunday) starts week 9 and I've already maxed out my calories to burn for this week. If I can get a grip on the nutritional, I should be alright.

Today was good but boy-oh am I physically tired. I got up way too early and ran 18+ kms. Then, the family & I spent 3+ hours moving my mom from one apartment on the second floor to another that also happened to be on a second floor. Heavy lifting AND stairs.. whoohoo!! The only unfortunate part of the day is that I couldn't track dinner (chinese food) but considering I burned over 2500 calories, I'm not too worried. I enjoyed ever last one. Is that wrong? LOL.
