Week Seven, Day One

OMG, what a long day: KF from 8 til 5 and then GL from 6 til 9. I'm beat BUT I'm wide awake. I hate when that happens.
I set a few challenges for the girls in LIC this morning. I hope to achieve them myself this week.
I've got three small challenges this week:
1) Do at least 3 sets of the daily email exercise and 3 sets of the Exercise of the Day. Today are the "Dumbbell Squat with Calf Raise and Overhead Press" and the "Wide Leg Wall Sit with Calf Raises".
2) Eat well. Drink lots of water.
3) Get at least 210 minutes of cardio this week. (30 mins a day or however you want to break it up)
4) Strength train and stretch at least once. (full-body)


Daily stats for April 14: Calories 1973, Water 8, Fruit 4, Vegetables 3, Cardio/Strength -3 sets of the daily exercises as described above.

Week Six, Day Seven

I am a BAD blogger. But I am a good Flames fan. :~) I'm so proud of them tonight. What an AMAZING come from behind. All I can say is: Thanks Cujo. 22 saves. WOOT.

Alright onto the Spark stats:
Daily stats for April 11: Calories 1974, Water 8, Fruit 2, Vegetables 2, Cardio/Strength - nada

Daily stats for April 12: Calories 2206 (oh my!), Water 9, Fruit 1, Vegetables 1, Cardio/Strength - 60 minute Pure Strength class

Daily stats for April 13: Calories 2097, Water 9, Fruit 2, Vegetables 2, Cardio/Strength - 1:24:25/12.38 km run (737 calories burned)

My weight as of this morning was 123.5
This week, I have to work four evenings. I will be running two of those. Hopefully, I can get near the FitFix machines for some ST. Saturday, I plan to do BodyPump. Sunday will be a long run and some BodyFlow. And a five hour work day. emoticon Am I crazy?

Week Six, Day Four

Okay so I somehow missed writing yesterday. My mind just hasn't been able to focus on ONE thing lately, it's gotta be everywhere at once. No wonder my youngest has focus issues of his own, it's hereditary. :~)
It snowed A LOT here in Calgary today. My 12 minute drive to work took me over an hour and most of that time I spent at a dead stop. Bleh. When I finally did get to work, my chosen parking spot had about a foot of snow in it and my van got stuck 3/4 in. Left it that way until the end of the day... what else could I do?
Had a great run with the group tonight. I can tell that 3 kms isn't enough for most of them. I love rookie half marathoners. They always want to push, push, push.
Well, it's late and now my entry will probably show up on the 11th .... oh well.

Daily stats for April 10: Calories 1850, Water 8, Fruit 3, Vegetables 4, Cardio/Strength - 26 minute run/walk (215 cals burned)

  


Week Six, Day Two

This morning my son's temperature was was over 100 again. (2nd day) Thankfully, my mom lives close and was able to come relieve me so I could go to work for 11. Still, after not being there for a day and a half, I was not really looking forward to seeing my desk. It was, as I imagined, depressing. I can't believe the difference in the way I feel going to my new PT job versus my old FT job. And I've only worked at my new job for 8 hours. This can't be a good sign.
Perks to my new job: Tanning, free membership, working out is part of my job description. HAHA! life. is. good.
