So this week I bought a schwack of fresh fruit and some fresh vegetables, too. When I brought them home I divided them up into portions and stuffed them in snack sized ziploc bags. Now all I have to do is grab them from the bottom of the fridge.
I also bought myself a scale today. so far, I've only used it to divide my sweetpotato fries into single servings but I think it's going to be a real eye-opener where portions are concerned.
Hoping to do some aquafit on Tuesday and Thursday and a run on Wednesday. Other than that... it's rest, work and get ready for next week's vacation. WOOHOO!

it feels like everyone around me is trying to "help" me fail. How helpful is it when I'm trying to eat better for the people who are supposed to be supporting me are munching on chocolate & chips. (among other things).
I just don't feel encouraged, and that is discouraging. I'd love for someone else to see a change, and comment, and mean it. *sigh

  


tougher than I thought

Every morning when I wake up, I look at my nutrition page for what I'll be eating "today". I try not to look to far in advance... too much information sometimes makes me anxious. Lately, it's gotten easier to stay within the ranges that I've set for myself and I'm not too bored (which I thought I would be). Unfortunately, then I go to my fitness page and the disappointment sets in. I used to love going to the gym and now I never go. I love running and now it seems I just can't keep up with my friends. Not since my car accident anyway. It sucks. I cannot expect people to follow me when I'm the one following them. Hopefully, I'll get back to being able to run 10 kms... soon.
