November 19.

Thursday, November 20, 2014

Yehhh, this didn't go as planned. I developed an earache last night and, apparently, I've also gained eczema. I didn't even know you could get that in your ear. Five drops, twice a day, of an antibiotic/steroid and I should be okay in two weeks.

Didn't work today so I didn't run tonight. Zero exercise and I didn't make my steps.
Drank two-thirds of my water goal. Hard to drink when you sleep most of the day.
Fruit and veggies consumed!! emoticon

Iron supplement taken emoticon

Oh you poor gal, ear aches really stink. Hope your drops work really fast. Until then, rest, drink, repeat. emoticon

You need sleep to heal. Don't expect to do things the same as you would while you're well. emoticon

emoticon Iron, Fe My Goal 140-170
Today 155
You've met your daily requirement for iron, an essential part of hemoglobin, which transports oxygen to the cells. (and that's BEFORE my supplement which means I probably over did this one)

emoticonCalcium, Ca My Goal 100-200 Today 110
You know that calcium is essential for building strong bones, and you're eating the right amounts of calcium-rich foods to meet your body's needs.

emoticon2000mL of water
emoticon3 Veggies
emoticon2 Fruit
Take iron supplement (see above)
Make calcium "goal" as set by Sparkpeople (see above)

Made it to/through my run without any problems. Only lasted 15 minutes in yoga, though. My ear infection is back. I had a bad ache and a pounding along with ZERO balance. I had to leave. I went to my regular walk in clinic but they closed at 9 and it was 9:20. I didn't even bother going to another one because they all close at 10 and stop taking patients at 9:30. I wouldn't have made it. I'm going tomorrow, though.
All in all, not a bad day.

November 12

Day one (yesterday) saw not quite enough fruit, veggies or water. But....

I *think* I'm back. I've been super struggling lately, trying to keep all the balls in the air and maintain some sort of normalcy. It worked right up until wedding weekend when I just gave up. I stepped on the scales this morning and I'm 7 pounds above my maintenance weight. Now THAT'S a wake up call. So here's my plan for the week....
Track everything I eat. If I can't track it, I'm not eating it.
I started tracking again yesterday and will make ALL my workouts this week.
Make it to all my pre-scheduled workouts. No excuses. If I can't do something full on, I will modify.
Tuesday: run & yoga emoticon
Wednesday: run emoticon
Thursday: BodyPump & yoga
Friday: unknown
Saturday: BodyPump

Drink a lot more water. I've had days w/o water. That's not good.
Eat vegetables (3 servings) and fruit (2). I've stunk at this lately.

emoticon 2000 mL
emoticon I had a beautiful salad, from Wendy's, for lunch.
emoticon I had three servings of fruit
I did a 4.25 km run!! emoticon
