I am in the middle of writing a paper, needed a break so here I am.
I ran 3 miles during my lunch break today. Saturday, I decided to do an IFIT Jillian Michaels 10k training on my treadmill. I started on level 3 which I realized after 5 minutes was a big mistake. I stopped it, went back on line and went to level 2.10 It was a nice challenge but I could do it. I am not going to get an injury! So, today when I went running my legs still felt stiff from Saturday! I can see why the say to only push your speed way up once a week!
My employee's husband's viewing is tomorrow night and the funeral/burial/memorial luncheon is Wednesday. My husband and I are going to Wednesday's events. Her husband's life insurance is covering the funeral, and since he was a veteran his burial is covered. We are paying for the luncheon.
Now we are working on her health insurance. She was on her husband's. Evidently, the insurance ends at midnight when the insured person dies. So, the poor girl is dealing with all this at the same time! She has to compare the cobra package to mine and make a decision by Friday. My insurance broker said he would help her. I know it's the last thing she feels like thinking about.
I don't know when she is coming back. I don't know that she will be able to teach three year olds at first. We may have her work in the front office. We are going to follow her lead.
Anyway, there is a lot going on but I am getting through it. Next Thursday my husband and I are going to Key West with friends. I can't wait to relax! Then the week after that is Spring break so I get a week off from school, though I will have homework! I am staying on my calorie target through all of this, too which is a good thing!
The weather is going to be in the 70's tomorrow through Thursday, so I will be outside running every day except Wednesday. It is so de-stressing to run, I love it!
