Consumed 1119 cals today
Today I packed my lunch for work and ate breakfast and dinner at home. I had gone almost an entire week eating out due to vacationing in sunny Florida, so I was so relieved to be making my own food today. I made pretty good choices while I was gone, but I still will never know what was added at the restaurants. I gained 2 pounds so I definitely have to get back to basics!
I had to work longer hours today to catch up, then grocery shop, then do the laundry. I didn't get my run in. I did run everyday on vacation so it was probably a good time to take a break. I got everything done so I should be back on track with my cardio tomorrow. It's 8:45 and I am just sitting down for the night!
The weather is supposed to be 50 and sunny tomorrow. I am planning on running tomorrow morning on the treadmill and taking Roxy on a nice walk tomorrow afternoon after work.

My Florida vacation was absolutely wonderful! It was 82 degrees while I was there everyday and I got to miss a snow/icestorm here at home!
I ran 3 miles Thursday and Friday morning while in Punta Gorda and then danced at a club Friday night in Captiva. Saturday I ran 4 miles and then biked 37 miles (3 hour bike ride)! My husband and I biked Captiva and Sanibel Island plus some off the road trails. The bikes were not that great (hotel provided) but we did it! After dinner, we sat in the hot tub a long while then were asleep by 9! Today we went to a spa in the morning for massages then flew home. I did pretty good with eating, too. I ate a lot of fish. I did have tortilla chips at a mexican restaurant, but I had fish tacos for dinner. I had some alcoholic beverages but did get my exercise in. I definitely was more attentive to what I was eating. I did order coconut cake at the Bubble Room on Captiva Island. I could smell it when I walked in. I had four fork-fulls (mainly the icing) and left the rest. Yayyy! It was enough and I enjoyed it. I loved the SparkPeople Tracker application. I used it everyday as I ate. It helped to keep my focused. My husband was funny after we biked. I told him we burned 1300 calories. He thought it was wrong and should say we burned a lot more! Yeah, welcome to my world!
So, today I was back to a little lower calorie range. I will weigh myself in the morning, but am planning on it taking another week to hit my first goal weight.
I did read some of your blogs and tried to reply. Some times I was able to, other times my phone would be on the fritz...so I will catch up with all of you this week! From what I read, it sounded like you all were doing wonderful and on target! Yayyyy!!

SparkPeople Upper Body Video X2

Yesterday I ran 3.1 miles in 35 mins, and did 2 different SparkPeople toning videos. I cleaned the house, then went out to dinner and to a friend's house to watch a movie with my husband. It was a whirlwind day, and I was happy I got my running in! I didn't get a chance to blog! I did overindulge last night on crab dip and bread - it was ssooo good. I actually ate 2000 cals! I knew I burned over 500 calories running so I enjoyed every bite! It was also the second day in a row I ran, so I gave myself a break today.
Tonight I have to start packing for my Florida trip - I leave Wednesday. The temp should be in the high 70's during the day -- every day while we are there. We are going to Punta Gorda to celebrate my father's 70th birthday and my parent's 50th anniversary. On Friday, we are going to head to Captiva Island.
We love it there, it is so relaxing. We will bike Captiva and Sanibel Island. Back and forth it is a total of 30 miles, but the bike path is all flat so it's not that hard.
I am happy I bought my IPhone. I love the SparkPeople app. I will be able to track all my food and exercise. I can easily get on the web site too. I should also be able to keep up with you guys!! Maybe I will even get a blog in! I am going to miss my SparkPeople Live Meeting :(
I will do 10 min toning by memory at my parents, and at the gym in the hotel on the weekend. So, that's my plan!
