Whew! I had a great time and got a lot done, but am so New Year's Day has arrived. I have been running around like a nut!
I didn't even "log in" on the 28th! It was such a pain to go back and track my food but I did! I did really well the past 2 days on my calories even though I didn't get a chance at the time to log my food. I am now in the habit of knowing when and what to eat - yayyy! One night I had a few rum and diet cokes and italian bread and still managed to consume 1250 cals for the day! When dining out I have learned that baked/steamed seafood is my best choice! My husband and I ended up dancing for 3 hours with a bunch of friends that night. Yesterday my foot was sore (must have been on it to much) so I didn't run on the treadmill or do cardio.
I had a bunch of friends over last night for New Year's Eve. I served baked ziti, meatballs, a huge veggie tray, fruit tray, fresh salsa and chips and various desserts. The party started at 8 PM, so I ate my dinner before the party and snacked on the veggie tray and drank cranberry juice in my new favorite wine glass. I did have three water wafers with this fantastic smoked salmon/cream cheese/dill dip one of my friend's made - it was delicious! My cals consumed yesterday were 1285. - Yayyy!
Today my foot is feeling a lot better, so I will be doing my cardio, toning and take a little run on the treadmill. I am excited about doing the January Jumpstart program. I am happy that I can do it at work, too. It may be the way to fit everything in.
