I ate 1135 cals today.
I got a lot of cleaning done at my house and my older son's new house. My younger son (still living at home) is hanging all the Christmas lights outside. When he is done, he is going to help me bring the exercise bike up two flights of stairs. He is going to carry the heavy end and we are going to see if we can do it without bothering my husband. My husband is still helping my other son at his new house tonight.
My friend Christina is still taping a commercial so I am not sure that I will get to see her tonight. I don't like to drive in the dark, especially when I am not familar with an area.
Someone remarked on my earlier blog that they would be starving if they ate 1200 cals a day. I have not been hungry. I think it is because of what I am eating and how many times a day I am eating. Plus I drink A LOT of water. and I track EVERYTHING I eat on SparkPeople. Most of the time, I track before I eat.
Here is a typical day:
1/2 cup skim milk
1/4 cup blueberries
Nutrisystem Turkey Dog
1 slice whole wheat bread
1 1/2 cups tossed salad (carrots, radishes, lettuce, cabbage)
1 tblspn Kraft Free Ranch Dressing
4 ozs Breakstone 2% cottage cheese
Yoplait Light Yogurt
Nutrisystem Thick Crust Pizza
1 cup broccoli
1 cup pink grapefruit
Nutrisystem is helpful because it gives the correct portion size, which is a lot smaller than what I was eating. It also trains you on which foods to eat at different times of the day. I think that's why I got "stuck" after I lost 13 pounds earlier in the year. I add a fruit to every breakfast and dinner. Sometimes I also have a fruit instead of dairy for afternoon snack. When I am done the last Nutrisystem order, I will keep eating this way, and just sub homemade entree's where the Nutrisystem food used to be. I do this now when I go out to restaurants - which is pretty frequent and I continue to lose weight.
So, basically, I feel like I am eating all day. I do pack my lunch and afternoon snack EVERY DAY during the work week and on the weekends if I am running errands. Hope this helps!
