Well, I got one last walk in with Roxy before my foot surgery. Doc said surgery went well, found a cyst in my joint, too - so I have to be extra vigilant about staying off my foot this week. I got up the stairs to the main floor of my house pretty quickly. Went backwards on my butt, lifted myself up with my arms - pretty nice little work out all-in-all. The knee scooter is absolutely wonderful. I can go from the couch to the bathroom all by myself. I want to go out on the deck for a while, but, my husband won't "let" me - said I will regret it later if I do too much. Nutrisystem day 1 is going good, too. It's very quick logging their food on SparkPeople. And, it has already proven to be a good idea - my husband ate his favorite Chick Filet sandwich and fries, while I ate a salad and fettucini alfredo! Since I can't complete my weekly goal of running 15 miles per week, I am hoping to complete my new goal of losing 2 pounds per week.
