Was yesterday Friday the 13th?

Started my day with both dogs getting skunked, the 8 a.m. court appt. went badly and then at my 2 p.m. eye appt. the technician gave me the wrong eye exam, therefore, I need to go back for the correct exam next Wednesday. I woke up at 2:30 as I have too much on my mind. I have to remember to eat the proper food during all these trials. I hope I can nap today as I have a 5:30 p.m. wedding. Wonder how that energy drink works (just kidding). I give thanks for this new day that the Lord has made. I can not handle what is going on in my life, and He can, so I am going to let Him. Amen

Sitting here at the computer smelling skunk! I escort the dogs into the detached backyard every early morning just to avoid this!!! Both my Shepherd and 108 lb. Golden got skunked about 20 minutes ago and are waiting in the backyard now to be bathed. Then I get on the computer and my computer mouse is dead. My husband will have to wash them the first time as I need to be a court at 8 a.m. with my son. I pray that goes well! It is going to be a good day, it is going to be a good day, it is going to be a good day!

    Tis the season for skunks. DS#1 runs early in the morning, encounters a lot of them, so far has not been sprayed. Good luck in court!

Yoga

I tried Yoga for the first time last night. I did not care for it at all. It was just hard to sit still and just breath. Maybe I will give it one more shot.

I saw a commercial last night (I didn't even see what it was advertising as it surprised me) and it said that when you get older you have to exercise one hour a day just to maintain the weight that you are currently at! Comments please!

    was it a commercial for a quick weight loss gimmick or some exercise belt/equipment? Remember, commercials will always be self-serving and subjective. As I age, I'm not as much concerned about my weight as I am the fact that I want my joints to work as smoothly as possible :-) Sounds like scare tactics!

Let me settle for less than I wish were possible and be willing to accept and appreciate it. I need not expect too much from people and myself. I will be content by gracefully accepting the good that comes to me and not get upset at life because it is not better.
