It has been over a week now and I am pretty well adjusted to my new calorie intake. Do not feel hungry at night and have managed to stay pretty close to my calorie goal. i have also increased my water to 8-9 cups a day.

Exercise is another issue. I have such an issue setting aside time to do it.

    Hi Lady!

Happy Friday! I was just reading your blog and the time that you took to fire up your machine, write a blog and peruse through SP you could have gotten in a quick 10 minute stretch. There is always time. You may not be able to do thirty minutes all in one block. But maybe you should try doing 10 minutes 3 times a day. No Excuses. You are here because you want to be healthier. You must hold yourself accountable and make time.

Day5- night time eating

I am so use to eating late at night and going to bed over full, that last night I had a hard time going to sleep. Not because I was hungry but because I was not full enough. I thought about food for an hour before falling asleep. Foods like chips, nachos, and popcorn. Man did I have a salt crave. Today I going to let myself have just a little chips and maybe that will keep me from the crave tonight.

In other news, it is raining today. that means unless it breaks later this afternoon I will not be able to walk the dog.

    I get those late night cravings for the salty snacks as well. It ia raining here today so I , too, didn't get to take Sam (my 4 legged walking Buddy) on his walk.I hope the weather improves tomorrow so we can get those steps in (for both of us :) ). Hope you have a great weekend!

Day 4- new scale

UG... bought a new scale and gained 9 lbs. I would love to go back to the old scale and lose 9 LBs in a second but that would be hiding who I am.
Not sure why my sugar is still high. I am eating well and there has been no raw sugar intake. I guess it is time to go back to the doc for new meds.
Did the 15 desk exercise and could not do one part of it. Back hurt to much.. I did manage to get a quick 1/2 mile walk in before it got dark.
I feel like I am moving forward.

My sugar is still up (176)... I need to eat more during the day and less at night.
I have decided that since exercising is hard for me right now I am going to start with walking the dog once a day. I loved when I use to walk several times a week before my surgeries and would love to get back into the habit. I have some wonderful hills around me and the weather has been so nice. A walk in the evening or morning would be great.
Need to go to sleep earlier and get better sleep. Watching TV at night has been keeping me up too much.
Today my hip is doing great.



emoticon I did it. I got a walk in... It was less than a mile because Duchess hated the traffic but I did it! I found the time... whoo Hoo...

Spent the night in major lower back and hip pain.
Woke to more pain. Took most of the day to feel better.
No exercise today. I started working right when I got up and it was a non-stop day of running around. Doing great tracking my food.
