DAY FIVE

got off to a late start today but late is better than never. i had to rest up for awhile to let the pain subside in my back. i want to workout but am afraid i will damage myself further. now what? i will not give up because of this injury... i will just have to figure out a way around it. i am open to any all suggestions. keep me in your prayers as someday i will have to have surgery.

    What type of back injury do you have? I can empathize with trying to exercise with a painful injury. Last week I developed tendonitis in both my knees. It's been challenging to do cardio and strength training this past week. But I've just focused on movements that won't aggravate my knees such as an ergometer (upper body cardio) and upper body strength training.

Do you have membership at a gym? I know a few people who have had back injuries that will use a recumbent bicycle, since it places the least amount of strain on the back. And for therapeutic measure you could see about using a hot tub, or just running a hot bath at home.

i have decided today to do one my workout videos that i haven't done in a few years. i know the pain associated with gunnar peterson core secrets 25 minute workout video but i also know the outcome of doing it. i have come this far so giving up is definitely not an option.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me....Philipians 4:12...
these are words to live by because without Christ I can't succeed.

today is a beautiful day. i'm a new me, a better me. there's no pain in my body and i have the energy to play with my dogs. i can't walk them yet but that is a small goal of mine.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me....Philipians 4:12

today's workout was pretty intense for only nine minutes.. i got through it and feel better now than before starting it. i hope i can hang on to the motivation though..

today i'm a beautiful vibrant woman.. i may be overweight now but someday i will be at my healthy weight. i don't have to be a size 0, 1, or 2 to know i am beautiful.

today i see myself as the beautiful woman God made me. i will no longer allow negative selftalk dictate who i am no longer will i allow HOLLYWOOD determine how i am supposed to look. i will learn to love me despite the extra weight. i look good!!
