Operation "Get Back On Track" is a HUGE success, my friends! Let me explain!
Why I did it!
- To help me FOCUS!
- To keep it FUN!
- For the DISCIPLINE!
- To help me MOTIVATE!
What I'm doing!
- Tracking EVERYTHING!
- Measuring/weighing & being mindful of portion sizes!
- Staying in calorie range!
- Drinking 8-10 glasses water daily!
- 5 or more fruits & veggies daily!
- PLANNING my evening snacks!
- Cooking healthy meals!
- Strength Training w/Kettlebells on M-W-F for 20 min!
- 2 hours of CARDIO (collectively from the list below!)
- ZUMBA 2x weekly!
- DRUMS ALIVE 1x weekly!
- Run for 30 minutes 4 days/week!
- Walk for 60-90 min daily!
- Treadmill or Eliptical for 30 min after exercise class!
I'm soooo EXCITED that my weight is coming down! I've reset my weight ticker so I can see my little person running with the marathoners toward the finish line!
Woohoo!!! I'm feeling it now!!! Go Me!!!

Hubby & I will be leaving tomorrow morning to visit w/family for a few days in S. Carolina! So I'm making tomorrow my weigh in day for the week instead of Wednesday. I'm expecting GREAT things, my friends!
Me on my first ever kayaking adventure on the Estero River in Estero, Florida! I went with Spark friend Jodi & her hubby! Thanks guys! We were out for 2 hours & 15 minutes! Ewwweeeeeee!!! I had a blast!

I did it! I finished in 47:19! Not to mention I placed 754th w/a time of 15:10! Hey, not bad for a 58 year young woman who was a couch potato 10 months back, huh!

And a big THANK YOU to my honey of a husband who after spending two days driving back from Ohio & then got up before the crack of dawn to get us to the race on time... & who then photographed the festivities & fetched us water!

I am so happy to be visiting with old friends! It brings me such JOY! And even as I'm visiting & catching up, I'm missing you all!
I brought my scale so I could weigh in for today.....& it's NOT working! I have no idea what's wrong except to say that it just didn't like the car ride up north! I'll have to figure it out & weigh in tomorrow for recording purposes!
Gosh darn! Don't ya just HATE when that happens!
I did manage to maintain over 10,000 steps on both traveling days! Woohoo! And I little secret on this is.....move your body to the music on the radio & often! Oh yes....

Oh, did I ever get some strange looks from others passing us by...but no matter! I was having a good ol' time! Laughing...... I even had people cheering me on as I was grooving & doing my thing! And my pedometer was just clicking away!
I hope everyone is well! I honestly do miss keeping up w/you all! Please know that you're all in my thoughts & I intend to play catch up as soon as I'm able! I did manage to get in 2 good walks yesterday & did my ST! Today I intend to get a full 90 min of run/walking! I do miss my routine! Also, it's difficult to get in all my calcium & fiber...& my body FEELS it! So I will be mindful of that today.
We'll be heading in to to seeing my daughter & grandchildren later today...& then off to my brother's place! My youngest child is in Vegas as I speak & I'll see her before we leave Ohio next week! Can't wait to HUG everyone!!!
