Um, yep! Well, let me explain!
I prepared to begin Day 4 of my Couch to 5K training! I went out this morning to get my exercise done early, as scattered showers are in our forecast. I was excited & full of energy... ready to go! So, off I went! I completed 5 min of warm up...& then I did 60 sec of jogging & 90 sec of of brisk walking...alternating cycles for a full 20 minutes! Oh, but wait! I was running & feeling great & feeling good about what I've accomplished thus far! I'm in training to become a runner! Me! Who knew! Woohoo!
And then I realized it! I'm on DAY 4! Oh no! Day 4 is a completely different week in the program & I'm supposed to begin another set of instructions today! Oh geeez! Okay I thought, I'll just find out what it is I need to do for this week... & I'll do it over again! So then, I threw caution to the wind... & I just ran !Oh yes! I set my timer & off I went!
And there I was....running! And I ran for 10 full minutes!
NOT winded! NOT tired! It was a full-fledged run!
I was sooooooo proud of me!
Now, for the REAL Day 4! Plan is to be jogging for 90 seconds & walking for 2 minutes for a total of 20 minutes. Hey, I CAN DO that! No problem! So hubby & I went back out & again, I warmed up for 5 minutes & then cycled jogging for 90 sec & walking for 2 min for a total of 20 minutes!
It felt ! And I felt !
Who would have thought that 5 months ago, I would be ! Who knew I was capable! Who knew!
And ya know what! The just came out! Yep!
