Hello My Friends!
WELCOME to Day 3 of Couch to 5K training!
Um, I proceeded solo this morning as hubby slept IN this morning! We have plans later, so I needed to get my day started early! He has no such urgency & so...off I went on my own!
I'm down .6 this week! A loss is ALWAYS cause for celebration!
Okay, so...I was dressed for the occasion, had my running shoes, jogging shorts, halter top, & timer! Oh yes! I just bought a new timer that helps me set my start & end time for each segment of my program! It's very, very nice! And easy to use too!
So, off I go with a warm up walk for 10 minutes...then a jog for 60 seconds & 90 minutes of brisk walk for several cycles. And I have to say! My having the timer in hand makes is SO MUCH EASIER! I can see how long I have...so I don't stress so much! It was easier, I think! Anyway, I'm doing my cycles & wouldn't ya know. It got darker & darker out, as the clouds moved in! And yep! You got it!
It began to & ! And me with NO umbrella! Laughing....
I was caught in a downpour & all I could do was ! I was 10 minutes away from the condo...so I kept !
And I ran a full 10 minutes! It felt !
So, mother nature for raining on my parade!
