Um, yep! Well, let me explain!
I prepared to begin Day 4 of my Couch to 5K training! I went out this morning to get my exercise done early, as scattered showers are in our forecast. I was excited & full of energy... ready to go! So, off I went! I completed 5 min of warm up...& then I did 60 sec of jogging & 90 sec of of brisk walking...alternating cycles for a full 20 minutes! Oh, but wait! I was running & feeling great & feeling good about what I've accomplished thus far! I'm in training to become a runner! Me! Who knew! Woohoo!
And then I realized it! I'm on DAY 4! Oh no! Day 4 is a completely different week in the program & I'm supposed to begin another set of instructions today! Oh geeez! Okay I thought, I'll just find out what it is I need to do for this week... & I'll do it over again! So then, I threw caution to the wind... & I just ran !Oh yes! I set my timer & off I went!
And there I was....running! And I ran for 10 full minutes!
NOT winded! NOT tired! It was a full-fledged run!
I was sooooooo proud of me!
Now, for the REAL Day 4! Plan is to be jogging for 90 seconds & walking for 2 minutes for a total of 20 minutes. Hey, I CAN DO that! No problem! So hubby & I went back out & again, I warmed up for 5 minutes & then cycled jogging for 90 sec & walking for 2 min for a total of 20 minutes!
It felt ! And I felt !
Who would have thought that 5 months ago, I would be ! Who knew I was capable! Who knew!
And ya know what! The just came out! Yep!
Life is GOOD in my world today! Hope yours is GOOD too! Have a GREAT weekend!

Hello My Friends!
WELCOME to Day 3 of Couch to 5K training!
Um, I proceeded solo this morning as hubby slept IN this morning! We have plans later, so I needed to get my day started early! He has no such urgency & so...off I went on my own!
I'm down .6 this week! A loss is ALWAYS cause for celebration!
Okay, so...I was dressed for the occasion, had my running shoes, jogging shorts, halter top, & timer! Oh yes! I just bought a new timer that helps me set my start & end time for each segment of my program! It's very, very nice! And easy to use too!
So, off I go with a warm up walk for 10 minutes...then a jog for 60 seconds & 90 minutes of brisk walk for several cycles. And I have to say! My having the timer in hand makes is SO MUCH EASIER! I can see how long I have...so I don't stress so much! It was easier, I think! Anyway, I'm doing my cycles & wouldn't ya know. It got darker & darker out, as the clouds moved in! And yep! You got it!
It began to & ! And me with NO umbrella! Laughing....
I was caught in a downpour & all I could do was ! I was 10 minutes away from the condo...so I kept !
And I ran a full 10 minutes! It felt !
So, mother nature for raining on my parade!
for Day 3!
Have a FAB day my friends! Rose

Hello My Friends!
Reporting on Day 2 of C5K training!
First of all, I want to share that I wore my new running shorts (very light & airy, they are!) & I felt so springy & svelte wearing them! Hubby says they are very flattering to my "behind"! (blushing...) And I wore an exercise halter top which kept my "girls" very secure & happy! Was needing that, I found out! Smiling...
I walked for 10 minutes to warm up & then off I went for 60 seconds of jogging & 90 seconds of walking, alternating for a full 20 minutes! Again, the first 60 seconds of jogging was the hardest..."time?!" & "is it time yet?!" was voiced by me a few times! Laughing....
Oh yeah! I was feeling the burn!
And as I was jogging, I happened across a little lizard that leaped across my path....Oh, he really scared the daylights out of me! And I do believe I scared the dickin's out of him too! Well, hubby just laughed so hard as it scurried away! Geesshh! I almost peed my pants!
But I kept on going, by golly! And let me just say my friends! Was I ever sweating today! This jogging thing is a great workout! I can't wait until I'm really flyin'!
Catch me if you can!
