I have never gotten a runner's high. I exercise a lot of the time, but I never have gotten any kind of euphoria from excercise. Once I start, I generally keep going, out of stubborn-ness, not some kind of exercise high!
Exercising does make me feel good, but not in that way. It has nothing to do with endophins. It has to do with raising my metabolism to normal levels...fighting off the effects of my thyroiditis...making a change in my life. I wish I got a endorphin rush, then I would not have to push myself so hard just to get started out the door or onto the floor. :-)
