Since I slacked off on training over the weekend it was hard to get myself on the treadmill today, but giving up wasn't an option!
I slowed my pace down from 5.8 to 5.6 for a couple reasons! First being that I hadn't run since Friday and second I didn't want to push myself too hard and overrun the 25 minutes! As it is I ended up walking 1 minute as a result of my hip hurting! I thought I was gonna have to stop but I pushed through the last 9 minutes! Seems that my hip issue does this when I take more than a couple days off running! Other than the hip, I was feeling strong during the entire training, so I'm not feeling too bad about having to walk!
Here's how today went
1-5 w/u walk @ 4.0
5-20 run @ 5.6
20-21 walk @ 4.0
21-30 run @ 5.6
30-35 c/d walk @ 4.0
I'll probably be doing W7D1 tomorrow to get myself back on a F,Su,T training schedule! Long runs from here out... I'm ready to take them on!
