Got Back on Track

Yesterday morning I went back to a W/W meeting - as a lifetime member I only have to weigh in 1x per month - I am way over, and I knew it. I am determined to get this weight off - I cannot stand what I look & feel like. I will be going to the meetings weekly - I can sit in on them w/o weighing in...

I absolutely refuse to buy new clothes, so my goal is to be down by 5% by the next weigh in and 10% 2 months later. Final goal to be at my goal weight by the September weigh in - maybe before since I will be exercising at the 24 Hr Fitness center at least 3x a week. I have decided to change my bedtime habits and get up early to either get out for a walk or use Leslie Sansone's WATP tape on the days I am not at the gym.

It took 3-4 years to get this weight on, but it's going to take me 6 months to get it off and then keep it off. The additional benefit is that I will feel better, be fitter and my cholesterol #'s will be down....

The more energy I have the easier it will be for me to be working...

    you got a deal -- looks like we have to throw away the same # of lbs!!!!

I weigh in tomorrow - it better be more than the .8 oz that I threw away last week!!!!

I am re-training my brain to get me into bed early so i can be out walking the few days that I don't go to 24 hr fitness.... emoticon

    Sounds to me like you are giving yourself a "pep talk" but in the process, you gave me one as well! Thanks! Here's a deal for you: Let's check back with each other once a week, sort of like our own WW weigh-in and honestly account for our gains (yuck) or losses (hooray!). Interested in this challenge?

to be at Curves 3x per week. Unfotunately this week I only made it 2x - but on Wed I got on the Treadmill in the fitness room and did 20 minutes - better than nothing. Today I made it to Curves and did the complete Circuit - 30 minutes.

Felt good to be up and going.

Ok, been to Curves 3 times this week. It is getting harder to get up at 6:15am the mornings that I want to get ther. Yes, it feels good once I am finished, but I am getting tired about 1/2 way throu the circuit. I think I need to get to bed earlier so that getting up will not be hard and I will be more rested.

Need to really work on getting more sleep and being more organized and productive. Ok, that's another goal to set.

Well I made it to Curves again today - a little later than usual, about 6:45 am. I was tired this morning and really didn't want to get out of bed, but I pushed and did it.

I am staying home this evening instead of going to services and going to get to bed early so that I can get up, take care of my chores before the District meeting at 10am....

Made it to Curves again today, this was the 5th time I as there, the machines are getting easier to use. It also feel great to be up and out early, gives me so much time in the morning.

I cannot wait to get measured and see how I have changed. I know that the scale has not changed, but that has to do with eating heavy Italian food on Saturday evening. It is so hard to stay OP when family and friends want to go out to dinner. I guess it's my lack of control that gets in the way, especially when it's the weekend and I forget to eat lunch....

Oh, well, need to exert more control over myself!!!!
