    I saw this a long time ago and have it on my playlist...I love it! They dancing with the whales in Vava'u, Tonga is where my daughter met her husband...she was in the Peace Corps, there and he was born there! Hit my original goal!

emoticon This morning, I weighed in at 150 lbs. That was my goal when I joined SP a little over a year ago. What makes it particularly encouraging is the fact that I hit the *magic number* at the end of winter. In the past, winter has been my Achilles' heel, a time when I've regained lost weight.

The support I receive on SP is a MAJOR factor in my success! emoticon

I've now reset my ticker to my ultimate goal of 128 lbs, an undreamed of number a couple years ago! I also want to focus on building more strength and better balance for when I go hiking.

    emoticon 150 was my original goal, too. I figured it was something "do-able" for me. I reached it a year ago January. Readjusted to 145, figuring that was a number I could maintain for a year. But then kept doing my thing to see what the body would do, and you can see where it's settled.

And absolutely emoticon! Sparkpeople is a place where even AT a more normal weight I can come to keep my motivation high. Because after all... maintenance is where it's at, and it's harder to keep motivation once I have perceived myself as having met the goal.

Onward for you! Great new goals... I can see great hikes in your future, as you drive that slender frame forward!

I read that blog based on your recommendation. It was very inspiring.

The best thing about Spark is that whenever we have off track days - we know we'll get right back on track again the next day.

Wedding photos

I finally got to see some of the wedding photos today. emoticon I've been looking forward to showing them to my Sparkfriends.

Here is my son patiently waiting for his bride.


Exchanging vows.


Cookie Monster tried to steal the bride.


First dance as man and wife


The groom dances with his mom. He said, "You look beautiful, mom. emoticon


With my son's gorgeous half-sister.


From Quebec, there was my sister, sil, brother and myself


Enjoying a walk on the beach just before sunset.
