Had a big lunch today, that wasn't even worth eating, but it was at a luncheon that I had to be at, and it took FOREVER before we got to eat, so I ate it, and felt guilty. The good news is, instead of giving up the rest of the day, I went home and went for a run.

Tonight, I went Christmas shopping, and found myself having the first panic attack I've had in a very long time. The good news is, I made it through without giving up completely, and got a few gifts out of the way. I also found a kids bike, clearance priced $25....and I bought it for Toys for Tots! I can't wait to donate it!

I am so grateful to be able to do the things I do. Aside from the fact that I have a wonderful family, and I get to run a business that I really enjoy with my best friend in the world, I'm just thrilled that I can do the things I do for fun. Yesterday I hooped for almost 3 hours, and ran 2 miles. Today, I ran 3 miles and hooped for another 20 minutes (right after giving a one hour massage!) I love that I can do things like this.....and I wouldn't have predicted being able too at almost 50 years old. I see so many old friends on FB acting like old people...and I'm so glad to not be one of them!

I hooped an hour and a half with friends this morning, and another hour and a half tonight at our usual wednesday night hoop a quick two mile run with the partner. We're running every day now...from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day. We did the same thing last year, but it was at least a mile, this year we're trying for 2 mile minimums.

I did so much today, I didn't even feel bad about the lunch I ate today. Had a long overdue lunch date with a friend and we went out for middle eastern food..YUMMY!

It's been a fun, relaxing weekend...with way too much good food, and (fortunately) a lot of exercise too. After three days of indulging more than usual, it was SUCH a relief to get back on track today. It's funny how I actually missed eating healthy and looked forward to normalcy. I'm actually looking forward to back to work and school tomorrow, I am definitely a creature of habit.

    I know what your saying. I also was looking forward to my salad's. The thanksgiving meal was great but after it's all said and done I'm not sure it was worth all the exercising I'm having to do.
oh...we just need to keep plugging away at it.
I don't care for walking on the treadmill but here in Minnesota walking down the street isn't an option with the snow and all. So I'm getting over it.
This week I turn on Dr. Phil and listen to him "correct" people. LOL
