days straight of running at least a mile. Today was 2 miles, run by myself, and I managed to take 3 minutes of my best time...lol. I think it's because when partner and I run together, we talk a lot more, so we go slower. I push myself harder when I'm alone. Oh, and there was also the fact that my ipod died about 1.25 miles in, so I just wanted to get the rest of my run done because I was a little bored.
I think I'm going to end up addicted to running..but don't tell my pertner that!

Still running, 11 days in a row. We ran 5 miles today, despite being annoyed with each other and bickering a bit the whole way. Sadly, that may actually have made the run go by quicker...LOL.
No work at all today, a nice lazy day at home(other than the run.) Good thing too, because it appears to be another busy week. How come everyone decides they need a massage in December?

Thirty one more days of running to go. We ended up doing 2 miles this morning, since I had a little more time than I expected to, because of a client rescheduling. It's funny how 2 miles seems so much harder, coming right on the heels of having run 2 miles last night. I'm glad tomorrow is going to be a one mile day, since that's all I'll have time for. Now through Saturday night are going to be BUSY work days for me...but that's a good thing!
I'm starting to feel like a runner! How cool is that?

And another 3 miles covered. That makes the total for the week..since Thanksgiving...17 miles. I'm fairly proud of that. Today we didn't run until 6:30 tonight, because that's how our schedules worked out. It was kind of neat checking out the neighborhood Christmas lights as we ran, that was festive...LOL. I'm really not finding my Christmas spirit yet, but I liked seeing the lights.
Seven days down, 32 to go. Tomorrow's a one mile day, so I'm going to try to do it a little faster than I usually go.

Okay, so the cold wasn't the biggest problem. The rain was. Yikes! It was only 2 miles but it was TOUGH! Shoes squishing, water dripping off the bill of my hat, everything soaked by the time we got done. I don't know WHY everyone complains about the snow coming. I'd much rather deal with snow than cold rain. At least you can brush snow off, and it doesn't just completely soak in as soon as it hits you. Blah! I'll take snow over this stuff.
Good thing I feel that way. Tomorrow's forecast includes snow. Maybe I'll get to test out my yaktrax.
