I had prepared the best lunch. Lettuce, chunks of carrots, bell peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes.
I put a Tbs. of Ranch in a snack size ziploc and then I can cut the corner and pour it onto the salad. My students say it looks like frosting.
I had an ounce of almonds. And a sweet and juicey white peach.
I put it in a lunchbox with an ice pack.
And when I arrived at work I realized I had left it behind in the kitchen.
I called my son and asked if he could drop it off on his way to school. He said he had already left. I said, "Remember all of the times I went back home to get you something you forgot?"
I figured he wouldn't be able to bring me my lunch but several minutes later he walked in and dropped off my lunch.
"Here it is," he said, rather impatiently.
"Thanks!" I said, rather guiltily.
So, now I am enjoying my delicious and healthy lunch. Thanks to my son. I'm going to try not to do that again!
