Past vs. Future

Someone made the comment that "WE work out to get back to the old days." I told her that was not my reason, then she looked kind of confused. I just think that now our bodies have matured and are constantly changing, my workouts and food is based upon just that. I am losing weight because I want to be healthier, more fit now than yesterday and I do want to look good and feel good. I am doing this so that I better now than yesterday and even better tomorrow. I think that We Should All AIM To Take care of ourselves to avoid that rut of bad health, depression, lack of confidence and any other side effects of our excessive weight. We are better now than we were tomorrow, just like fine wine we will get better with time!!!

Returns of your Investment.....

Taking time out to exercise is an Investment that we put into ourselves. I was thinking about this, the more we invest the greater our return, yet we have to balance it out. I was thinking about my eating, there are some things I need to improve on in that area so I am focusing more on that area. I am getting my exercise in I have even increased on my time my weights and although I am not seeing what I want to see I know that its all in the process. Sometimes we want fast results with little or no investment. However I enjoy the change of pace of doing things the right way and learning new techniques, meeting new people with great advice and seeing progress at a gradual pace that will lead to something long lasting other than something that was quickly done to be quickly lost.

    I so much needed to read that today. I have been working so hard eating healthy and working out but still see fat. I will keep on pushing and then reap what I sew in God's perfect timing.

When the road gets tough, believe in yourself! When the road seems long, believe in yourself! When the road feels lonely, believe in yourself!! When you need strength believe in yourself! Reflect on how far you have come and not how far you have to go, for every bit of change counts. Every thing we do leads to our victory, every step we take brings us closer and closer. Just remember that BELIEVING IN YOU IS WHAT MATTERS MOST.

I know that this this road can be discouraging sometimes but in the end VICTORY is SWEET!!!

10 more pounds to go to claim my 75 down award!!! but the funny thing is, that I don't have an award to give myself. Uh oh!!! Help!!! Do anyone have any suggestions. I feel that I am going to look around and these 10 will be gone in no time. I am on a roll here and I am going full force. I am going to lose these 10 by APRIL 1ST, 2008. DETERMINATION is RUNNING on HIGH!!!!! I KNOW and BELIEVE THAT I CAN DO THIS!!!!

with Mr. PT today. Lol, he took me on the elliptical for an hour then to do some strength training. He makes me work hard, but its okay it feels good in the end.
A co worker asked me where was I going after work, I replied that I was going to see Mr. PT, at first she was caught off guard but then she understood. I am glad that I have made him a priority in my life, it helps with my sanity, weight loss and health at the same time. Its also a little bit of me time!!!

(This is not an actual man, I just decided to name my exercise time Mr. PT sounds good to me)

    Girl the good part about Mr. PT is he's all yours, you don't have to share him with anyone else. In fact, I have a Mr. PT myself. And he calls my name daily. Keep up the good work, and whatever works for you to do this this thing, keep doing it. Stay encouraged, and remember, when Mr. PT calls and you're body is hurting, sometimes it's okay to say later dude. :-)
