i started my journey so long ago.. losing weight pretty fast, but stayed there.. but i been sitting at 195-215 back and forth back and forth for about a year now.. and it is driving me insane.... i been trying diets here and there.. and nothing is working long term.. it would for a little while and then abck i gain again.. i did diet worked at the beginning to get the majority of my weight off.. now it is the second half and it is the hardest...
i just gotta eat right and excersise.. and just keep doing it and not just saying it.. ut DO
thats all that we can do.. is just do it..

so here i am trying to eat right and excersise.. and you know what i saw earlier today.. (same subject) this lady came into my work today and she looked beautiful fit.. and i just had to comment and say wow you look great and really in shape! what do you do??? and you know what she told me?? all she does is: RUN, HIKE, and EAT RIGHT as much as she can... and she just looked awesome! as in she did weights or something.. and thats all she does.. (so i wonder where she HIKES! but wow.. it really shows that just a good life style can do for you! its amazing.. and i want to be able to hike with my bf up a harder mountain and not feel like im dying! i want to feel great! ( i normally do afterwards...) but i want that feeling there as well for the harder hikes. and not (EASY as he would call them) hikes.. but im working on it.. and i been doing Teapot hilll now as much as i can with outher routeins inbetwen..
this week im camping with family and friends for the coming week.. and i know there are some great hikes out there somewhere (last year we did one) bu i plan on doing alot more.. and im gonna try to walk/jog/run while im up there this year too.. and see if i can get into that..somehow..

i have a goal for my hiking.. n 1 month i wnat ot be able to run up teapot hill.. (or at least run up the first stretch.. and then try the second streatch... and then go from there.. but once im able to run the whole thing... im going to get myself a backpack for hiking that has a water pouch where i wont need to carry a bottle anymore.. so that is my reward to myself for running up teapot hill..

and once i get back from camping.. im gonna try to hike up it with my 10lb weight vest on.. so i gotta work on myself up while camping...

You sure are revving up your engines! And, you will look like that lady ...
that came into your work, because you loved what you saw, found out what worked for her, and in doing so found out that she is doing exactly what you are doing. So, that is where you will end up. Just keep on giving positive energy to your dream and stay the course.

hey all, well i love my yoga class, but i gotta cut down to 1 day a week because it takes up so much of my time (like 3 hours) and it isnt fair to my son i get the benifets from it, but he doesnt... so i am cutting it down to 1 day a week and where my bf can either watch him or he comes with me, and im canceling my membership and just gonna drop in. and im doing more outdoor stuff where my son is part of it.. like hiking.. iv gone hiking almost all week now ecept for yesterday, and my cousin has joined me in this.. and this is something that my son can do with me. and the dog, and my bf.. all together.. and then other people can join too since i made a new group here on sparks people called fraser valley bc hikers
so anyone who lives in the fraservalley can join up and maybe hike with us!
but i am keeping yoga as part of my routein! and also a workout as well at the gym where my son can swim at the same time.. :) (thats on thursdays) but this coming week were going CAMPTING! woohoo! so we leave on friday.... and tonight i hike.. tomorrow i might not.. i might jsut get my stuff together.. or ill go hike, and then friday were leaving at about 12-2 ish... and i can get eveyrthitng ready then, but i know what i need to bring! SOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!
looov eit, we go every year at the same time.. but since i started going out with my bf i go fishing more often and camping more often.. but its ALL FUN! LOVE IT! :)

You are doing just so great! Let me check, and yes, what do you know, the weather actually does not look that bad for this weekend. Everyday I exercise too, so I guess we are both starting to feel the change now, eh?! That's great. It's also wonderful that you include your son and boyfriend in your life like that. Good stuff! wedding plans...DRESS...UGH... and bikram yoga......YAY...

ok so yesterday i had my first fitting fo rmy bridesmaid dress for my brothers wedding.. now the dress is very pretty.... and i KNOW it looks awesome on my sister.. because she has the perfect body.. but me..... umm nooooooooo i didnt even get to try on the dress when first picking them.. i just helt the bust over my bust with the back open... and we ended up getitng these dresses, because they were on sale, and the bride loved them.. but for my body shape.. even if i am wearing a sucky iny thing for my stomach.. i do have HIPS and this dress and my hips.. SIGHS.. so here i am trying my hardest to not eat bread, and im working out like crazy trying to go to hot yoga as much as i can.. i went three days in a row.. WOW loove going days in a row.. it feels soo good! and the teacher showed me how to lock my leg.. and i can do the moves now! and it dont hurt either! :)
tonight im not going to yoga.. i want to, but my son goes swimming on thursdays and im able to do a workout class at the gym at the same time.. so im doing that tomorrow.. and i wont be able to go to yoga on friday wither because im sleeping over at bf's.... but i gotta go to meeting.. laters

    keep your eyes on the prize. you are doing a wonderful job. when you take a break from something you "love, love, love," your body will began to miss it.

i miss my yoga, and my heavy weight training class, but i will return, it's about finding balance, and from what i see.. you are well balance with your program and getting to where you wanna be.. besides. the dress might fit you "perfectly".

just keep on working on you and doing your all time best...

    I do not blame you one bit. Just keep up the hard work. It was always hard when I went shopping with skinny friends and they would find the cutest outfits and me. Nope or it was too small or made me look bigger. Anyways that yoga class sounds great. I have heard lots about it and may look into trying it.

all i gotta say is WOW!!!!! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!!

so trying to do bikram yoga, and, and some classes at the gym while my son swims..... every week...... LOTS AND LOTS of no time left! lol

anyone who hasnt done bikram...... YOU SHOULD!

Training for a TRIATHLON..first time.. :D

its been a while.. im been doing good, kinda fell of that 3 hour rule wagon.. but im back on track now again.. still doing my excercises but im upping it up a notch.. well maybe like 5 notches.. lol
i have decided to do a TRIATHLON!
it is for Lymphoma Cancer. and my auntie has it, so im doing this for her.
it is a 750 meter swim, 18 K bike and a 5 K run. now my Cousin is doing this with me, we met up lastnihgt, and i joined the rec centre with the gym and pool.
and we already set up the days where were meeting at the pool and gym. i am exercising in the mornings and or evenings. and i also got a private swim lesson as well to get my strokes down pat for the swim part.

so this is goign to be good for me.. i can do this. i am very excited for this..
i am also doing two MOCK triathlons as well one in a month and a half from now, and another 2 months from then.. and then the real one happens 2 months from THEN.. so then at least i know where i am at, and what i need to work on most and see if i can get better and better..

i have never done a marathon or a triathlon, or anything like this, so if there are any suggestions that would be awesome!

  I've got 3 sprint triathlons under my belt and 4 marathons, so let me know if you have any specific questions. I'm hoping to get 2 triathlons in this summer. Take advantage of any free clinics, and make sure you do some brick workouts (ride then run).

Those private swimming lessons are a great start! I knew how to not to drown, but I did some small group lessons that helped me a lot. I honestly don't think I would have finish my first tri without it.

Also...just a warning...triathlons are addictive :-) I'm so excited for you!
