Saturday and struggling.

Saturday, January 05, 2013

I weighed at Weight Watchers today and was down.2. Really, that's all!! I can't believe it. I exercised like crazy and just lost .2. It is disturbing and upsetting. It does seem like an endless journey. I am disappointed but I am not going to stop. I want this craziness to end. I tend to screw it up on the weekends, so I am tracking my food today too. I have a difficult time at night, so I need to work on that. I need to change my mindset and habits. I will keep strong and keep up my commitment to a healthy body and mind. emoticon

I know your frustrated but that really is great. Remember the slower you take it off, the better chance you will have of keeping it off. WW recommends 1-2 pounds per week of weight loss.

Don't get discouraged! Keep up the good work! 2 pounds is better than not losing anything at all. Keep the thought in your mind that you are 2 pounds lighter than you were last time you weighed in :)

Way to go! At least you lost and didnt gain! Weekends are really hard for me too- I think the best way is if you try and keep your routine up even on the weekends, or make one of the weekend days your "long outdoor walk" days,

Good luck!

Another day

Wednesday, January 02, 2013

My second day is over. My exercise was really good. 30 minutes on the elliptical, 2 mile walk/run with the dog and the Jumpstart Challenge. My food is not that great. I do so well during the day, but the minute I get home I mess it up. I eat mostly out of boredom and habit. When I don't have dinner ready, I tend to graze and make bad choices. Tonight before I go to bed, I have put a Spark Recipe into the crockpot. The Salsa Chicken will cook overnight then it will be ready in the morning and I can put it in the fridge until dinner time. I really need to lick this evening eating.
My commitment for tomorrow is to get up and take the 6:00 Am cycle class, day 3 of the Jumpstart Challenge and to just eat dinner then be done.

Day 1

So had a great cycle class! 60 minutes of intense cycling. I am sweaty and happy going to take the dog for a walk, then do the Jumpstart Challenge workout. My food was good until I got so hungry after class and picked up a bag of chexmix. Bad habits! I ordered the cookbook too. I am feeling positive and good. Not perfect but better each day. I just finished my Jumpstart Challenge, it was harder than I thought !
