I just took this quiz here on spark people, and it tells you what kinda eater you are and what is the best option for a diet and exerscise plan is for you. I am sure that some of you have already found it, but for those of you who are new to this site, i will add the link for you right now:
ok that was the introduction. the rest of this blog is going to be about my results.
so my results say that i am an emotional eater. i guess that makes sense. I started gainging alot of weight when i had issued with my dad in freshman year, and after my parents divorced i just got bigger and bigger. after that, my life got a little more active, and i started loosing weight and getting more healthy. now recently a friend of mine is going through a stressful time and that causes stress for me and i find myself emotionally eating then i feel guilty for not sticking to my plan that i have and i hit the gym 2 or sometimes 3 times more than i would in a normal day.
since i have joined spark people, I have gotten a little healthier and paid attention to when i am standing in front of an open fridge when im not even hungry. (and there has been a signifigant number of sucesses where i was able to close it and walk away without eating a single calorie) but i want input from you guys out there who are in the same boat as me. if you are an emotional eater, what kind of things do you do to help yourself with it? And what do you find works for you?
