I didn't get around to blogging yesterday, I was lazy.
Yesterday was the end of my week 1 challenge. I walked around for about 15 minutes while I was talking to my daughter on Skype. I always walk around when I talk on the phone but yesterday I walked, marched like I was doing the Walk Away The Pounds videos. I did raise my heart rate and worked up a sweat. I also walked around for a while afterwards.
As a synopsis for the first week, I did 5 1/2 days out of 7 so I think I did well.
For week 2 we have to find different ways of exercise in everyday life which I usually try to do. I'm going to try 5 minutes in the morning to wake up with.
I really miss my gym buddy, it's so much easier to walk and talk and make the time go faster and work out harder.
Today I had a 10 minute walk to the store on the compound around 2PM, the outside temp was around 110 with no shade. It wasn't all that bad but when i got back I had worked up a sweat. Then while watching a Private Practice marathon, I did a 30 minute work out with my stability ball and dumbbells. My knee was still bothering me so I did the upper body workout.
I'm still determined and I will keep going at it!
