Not a good day.
I was so tired today, I just could not get up and moving. I laid down on the couch at 2:30 and took a nap for a couple hours.
I did get up and fix Skillet Chicken Pot Pie recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detai

and did a few exercises in the kitchen while waiting for it too cook.
Then I did do a 17 minute gentle mile Walk Away The Pounds video, so at least I did to my 10 minute challenge today!

I did the exercises despite a sore knee. You remember those "Indian burns" from when you were a kid, when someone would twist your arm, well that is how my knee feels. Like someone twisted my leg in different directions at the knee. It will probably be better tomorrow.

Today went ok, could have been better.

35 minute 2 mile Walk Away the Pounds Video: Walk and Talk Diabetes
17 minute 1 mile Gentle Walk

10 Minute Coach Nicole Firm, Fit and Fired Up Day 2, Upper arms
Tried to run the bonus cardio but it won't run
Then I did 20 crunches on the stability ball.

I don't know why the bonus cardio segment won't play but it just won't no matter what I try to do.

I'm also trying to plan my meals for next week when my husband will be away. I can cook one day and eat for a week. They are all my favorite recipes from my Diabetic cookbook.
I don't expect to feel immediate progress but I still feel like a beached whale and I look like I'm 10 months pregnant with triplets.

I have been tired all day and hardly felt like moving but I persisted and went upstairs and did it.
35 minutes of WATP video which is supposed to be 2 miles
Then I re-set the dvd and did another 10 minutes
20 minute resistance band dvd
15 minutes of lower body exercises
5 minutes on the manual treadmill

I'm also pretty pissed off at myself. Last year I ordered Coach Nicole's 2 work out dvds and couldn't wait to get back in the USA to get them and bring them back to use them. So the other day I get set to put the cardio dvd in and there it was, EMPTY! I brought back an empty DVD case and I know exactly where the DVD is that belongs in it. On the top of my DVD player in the living room! If the mail was anyway 1/2 reliable in this ass backwards country, I'd have it mailed to be but I know some jackass in the postal customs office would steal it or they would destroy it because they didn't know what it was-morons! Oh well, it will be there in June when I get back.

    OMG Robin that just stinks! what if one was sent over in the case??? would they allow it?? I have an extra one here just let me know where to send it if you think it could reach you! and toot toot for doing that great workout even when you really didn't feel like it! you did a great job!

Today I did 2-1 mile basic walks with the Leslie Sansone WATP that added up to 37 minutes
30 min dumbbell strength training
35 minute brisk walk through the grocery store.

I actually ate to my calorie level today too but I can't determine the nutrition information on some of what I ate because it is totally different that what the Spark data base has and the packages do not have nutrition information on them. I did the best I could figuring it out. Who knows, I could even be under my calories. Yes, I DO eat sensibly.
Today did go well I think.

A fresh start, D1/W1 + joined a new team

I started fresh today, 2 + years after joining Spark People. I am back overseas and over jet lag and my cold so I'm starting over.

I read about it on someone else's blog so maybe this is the push I need for now, I have to do something. I looks like a good challenge so far and it will make me do at least 10 minutes of exercise!
My belly is sticking out more and more and I just don't like it plus I'm finding that I get out of breath going upstairs when I used to almost run up the stairs. My blood pressure was up the last time I was at the drs. which isn't good. According to their scale I was 156 which is only 4 pounds from where I started at square 1 with SparkPeople back in July of 2008 and I don't want to be there again. I am just plain uncomfortable!
Now, when I weighed myself this morning on my scales it said 148, I DO NOT think I lost that much weight so I don't know weather to adjust my ticker to that weight or just add a couple pounds when I do weigh myself.

So for Day 1, Week 1 I did:
Leslie Sansone Walk Away The Pounds 20 minute Brisk walk
Leslie Sansone Walk Away The Pounds 20 minute low impact walk
Vigorusly scrubbed the bathroom for 30 minutes

30 minutes worth of Stability ball exercises for all parts of my body.

I am going to change up my exercise routine so my body doesn't get used to the same workout routine every day, different cardio each day and different workout equipment every day.
One thing is for sure. I MISS MY GYM WORKOUT BUDDY HOLLY!!!! I kept looking at the clock to see if I was done yet, no one to talk to but the computer and the cat.
