I started fresh today, 2 + years after joining Spark People. I am back overseas and over jet lag and my cold so I'm starting over.
I joined the team Official 10-Minute Daily Exercise Streak Challenge
I read about it on someone else's blog so maybe this is the push I need for now, I have to do something. I looks like a good challenge so far and it will make me do at least 10 minutes of exercise!
My belly is sticking out more and more and I just don't like it plus I'm finding that I get out of breath going upstairs when I used to almost run up the stairs. My blood pressure was up the last time I was at the drs. which isn't good. According to their scale I was 156 which is only 4 pounds from where I started at square 1 with SparkPeople back in July of 2008 and I don't want to be there again. I am just plain uncomfortable!
Now, when I weighed myself this morning on my scales it said 148, I DO NOT think I lost that much weight so I don't know weather to adjust my ticker to that weight or just add a couple pounds when I do weigh myself.
So for Day 1, Week 1 I did:
Leslie Sansone Walk Away The Pounds 20 minute Brisk walk
Leslie Sansone Walk Away The Pounds 20 minute low impact walk
Vigorusly scrubbed the bathroom for 30 minutes
30 minutes worth of Stability ball exercises for all parts of my body.
I am going to change up my exercise routine so my body doesn't get used to the same workout routine every day, different cardio each day and different workout equipment every day.
One thing is for sure. I MISS MY GYM WORKOUT BUDDY HOLLY!!!! I kept looking at the clock to see if I was done yet, no one to talk to but the computer and the cat.
