I'm excited, our state wide New Hampshire official Spark Rally is tomorrow (Saturday). I've got my Spark goodies packed, my food and drinks in the fridge. Can't wait to meet my teams!

I had a nice swim tonight, did some water aerobics and exercises in the water, it felt good.

Hope you all have a GREAT weekend!

Busy days

Thursday, June 24, 2010

The past few days have been busy. My daughter came on Monday evening and brought my 10 year old grandson. Tuesday we walked for HOURS around an outlet shopping center. Wednesday we emptied out the old fridge then put everything back in the new one then set up the Wii thing.
Daughter left Wednesday night but my grandson is staying for a few more days so today we set up the wii fit board and got a workout. That thing will be addicting!

This morning I had my yearly Mammogram but won't know the results for a few days.
I had a great walk on the treadmill with Holly at the gym tonight too. Tomorrow we're swimming since they dont' want my 10 year old grandson down in the gym.
I am getting ready for our New Hampshire Spark Rally on Saturday and I can't wait!

The Wii can totally be addicting. I play tennis for at least half an hour every day, not including playing baseball for two games. I really enjoy it.

Have fun with your grandson, and the Wii.

My Daddy

Sunday, June 20, 2010

Happy Father's day to my Daddy. Yes, you may think it's childish that at 52 I still call him my daddy, but he is my daddy. He is 90, he is on oxygen 24/7 but can take it off for an hour. He has heart surgeries, survived prostate cancer, he's a diabetic but he's still going. he may have slowed down and doesn't drive anymore but he's still here and I love him. He is a pround Grandpa to 3 grand daughters & 1 grandson and a very proud GREAT Grampa to 3 grandsons. He and my mother have been married for 63 years.
Here he is with my mom and his father's day gift which is one of those Edible Bouquets.

The bouquet is one of those Edible Arrangements, it is the Melon basket. My family said it was VERY sweet and delicious!

I still have to go see my Dad today. I am babysitting. I did tell him Happy Father's Day one day early. I was home yesterday for a while. emoticon

Interesting tidbits for travelers/Got a Spark Package today!

Wednesday, June 16, 2010

I found this article from Real Simple magazine VERY interesting since I travel internationally twice a year.

I got TWO Spark packages today! As a Team Leader of one state team and Co-Leader of another, I ordered a Spark Rally Team kit and it came today, Lots of interesting goodies in it for my team members who are active with my team and attend our Rally on the 26th of June. I got one **** ****** *****, 6 ****** ***** ***, 10 ****** ******, 8 neat *** ******, 6 ****** ******* plus lots of Business cards to hand out or leave here and there. If you are on my teams and you would lilke to know what the above is, you will have to come to the Rally on June 26 to find out!
Plus I ordered a Picnic blanket, another SparkPeople t-shirt, and I got a drawstring tote bag free.
The Picnic blanket is ok not what I expected from SparkPeople quality but I guess it will work but I won't order another one. I thought it would be bigger. The draw string bag will work well for a gym bag.

It was a GREAT day today!

GREAT roadtrip today!

Tuesday, June 15, 2010

I really like my New Hampshire road trips especially when I meet my friends. Today I drove down to a cross stitch shop in North Hampton to meet my friend. We browsed a bit then went for lunch. We went to a Lebanese place that we like. I was good and had a chicken shawarma and hummus which wasn't bad. We sat and talked then went our separate ways.
I went to a shopping center and just browsed around for a couple hours then walked a shopping center for another hour just walking.

I feel like I did get in some exercise today when I was walking.
Tomorrow it will be back to the gym
