It wasn't a big public race or walk but I pushed myself this morning and did a 3.25 mile/5K walk in 62 mintues. I know that is slow, a 19 minute mile but I made it. I probably could have kept going to finish the 5th lap but I ran out of water and it was getting warmer (my walk route is in full sun and it is the ONLY route I can walk right now). I hope it stays under 80F in the mornings so I can at least get in 3 laps. I sstill have more exercising to do today but I'm glad I did the walk.
The past couple of days since I have been with the Diabetes menu plan, I have stayed within my calorie levels. I just HATE stopping what I am doing to fix lunch though.
