A great walk today

Wow! I did my mile in 20:13! A new record! I need to re arrange some songs on my iPod so I can keep up this pace now. I start with Runaway Train by Soul Asylumn, It's My Life by Bon Jovi, Rock You Like a Hurricane, Livin' On A Prayer and a couple others that help me keep up the pace.
That great walk even happened after I didn't want to go today. Today must have been my day to catch up on sleep. I got up at 7AM, shuffled to the bathroom, then the kitchen to take my pill, then to the living room, let the cat in, laid down on the couch & me & Spot slept until 9:30!

My husband is my biggest motivator, he is pleased with every inch/pound I loose, he is interested in every step I make & every exercise I do. He is pleased with my progress and he listens to me when I'm upset about not losing and he is excited when I loose. He supports me, he buys me the exercise gear & clothes I need.
The rest of my family is very proud of me too.

    Do you keep track of your measurements in case you arn't losing but maybe gaining muscle? One month I gained 1 or 2 lbs. but I lost 3 inches in my hips and 1/2 inch in my waist. Don't forget that counts too. It helps booster you up. Hope
My friends and family tell me they can tell that I've lost weight and I've had to give away a bunch of clothes. Some people can't tell but they're around me all the time and can't notice the subtle changes.

Well I tried to enter the food I ated yesterday but after entering a few things, it said I was WAY OVER my sodium intake which I KNOW I WASN"T. I guess if I want to make sure it's right I have to enter everything I made manually but 1/2 the stuff I cooked with is NOT in the data base nor do I have any nutrition information on it because I am NOT in the USA and here they don't put the nutrition information on 1/2 the grocery items.
The breakfast I had this morning was a traditional local meal, no clue how to begin to enter that. Do you know that tamis & foul(pronounced fool) are?

    I agree I have trouble finding simple foods here in USA and some I make myself with No Salt. They don't have fresh green beans with No Salt which is no sodium. They have canned green beans LOL. I don't enter because its so hard to track. Don't worry if you don't because if I were you I'd keep a journal at home in a notebook that should suffice. I'll have to go to your spark page to see where you live. I thought you lived here. I hope you had a good Thanksgiving. I know other countries don't celebrate it but still I wish you a good day a day late. Hope

I am very happy to day I had a GREAT Thanksgiving dinner, I didn't over eat nor did I eat a lot of what I wasn't supposed to. I had 4 oz turkey breast, 1/2 cup of stuffing made with whole grain bread & NO salt, I had more broccoli/cauliflower/carrot steamed vegetables, fresh home made cranberry sauce, a plain baked sweet potato, NO rolls/butter, NO mashed potatoes a 2 finger slice of pumpkin pie, a 2 finger slice of apple cake & 1/2 glass of red wine with diet 7up. My blood sugar level before the meal was 119 and 2 hours after it was only 138, I was so excited & happy.
I haven't blogged in a while, just busy. I have walked Saturday - Tuesday and did exercises on Wednesday by doing MAJOR house cleaning.


Extra walk today

I got in an extra walk today! I walked 1.25 miles for 32 minutes this morning and again this afternoon. Inbetween I tried to get on the treadmill for a few minutes until I get used to it. I hope I did some good today.

    The treadmill is really good when the weather is bad. You don't have to skip just because its icy or wet or snowy. Its not too hard to do. Congrats on walking so much today. I walked extra too. I got in about 3 miles. Hope
